Rin's POV
Moving to Iwatobi wasn't the hard part. In fact I had been missing home and Japan really. The hard part was facing Haru and the guys again. I had gone to Australia with a heavy heart, my business with Haru left unfinished and the grudge growing day by day.
To be honest I wanted to die on the spot when Haru saw me at the pool. I was just having a leisurely swim after school, when Haru and the guys appeared out of no where and also who was the new guy behind Nagisa, the one with the glasses?
"You still swim, Rin?" Makoto asked to break the tension between me and them. I knew they where staring at me and it wasn't helping me with coming up with an excuse.
"I, uh...." But I was saved from saying anything by Gou.
"Onii-chan!" She said in disbelief when she saw me, "I thought you quit swimming." Gou...
"You... quit swimming? But why? You loved it," asked Haru, the mention of swimming earning his interest.
"You quit swimming, Rin-chan?" Nagisa said, curiosity in his wide, pink eyes. My throat was closing up, I was remembering things I didn't want to.
I climbed out of the pool and walked over to the changing room, dripping water in a trail as I went. I turned my head over my shoulder and looked at them. They were still staring at me, waiting for their answer.
"It's none of your business whether I quit swimming or not."
I got showered and changed quickly and started walking back home. My head was still reeling from their blatant invasion of my privacy. My phone buzzed in my pocket and the caller ID said the text was from Gou. I tapped in my passcode and read the text,
Onii-chan, we're sorry we made you upset. Can we talk about this at home in private please? Just so you can get it off your shoulders? 😅
I typed a reply to Gou,
Sure Gou, but you are not to repeat any of this conversation to them.
Hey guys,
I'm sorry this chapter is short, but I'm gonna try and make a longer one next time. Including what is making Rin so angsty and upset and how Gou convinces him to talk to her about it!
