"One tooth from a Hungarian Horntail... and there! Just needs to sit for a couple minutes and then I can transfer it to the vial!" Severus was proud of himself for completing this potion. It had taken him three days, five trips to Diagon Alley, and all of his best robes (they had gotten stained from his many failures). As the potion was boiling, Severus thought of the ways he could get the potion to Harry and make Lily happy. He finally decided that the potion would be mixed into Harry's next meal, and Lily would never know it was him. It was a perfect plan to not only make Lily smile, but also not get pummeled by James for doing so. Severus knew that James was trying to make peace, but he didn't trust that half-wit for a second, James could change his mind almost as fast as worms could boil.

Harry groaned as he sat up. Everything in and on his body felt like it was on fire, the painkillers hadn't done much except make him drowsy. "Do you want something to eat?" Lily asked him. Harry replied with a nod. "Right then," Lily huffed as she got up off of the couch, "Sev, would you toss me the big spoon over there." Severus, who was standing in the kitchen transferring the potion into small vials that he could carry, tossed Lily a spoon big enough to hold the Black Lake itself. Once Lily was done with the soup she was making for Harry, she put it on the counter to cool down. As Lily went to go sit down with her son, Severus saw opportunity gleam, and he went to pour the potion into Harry's meal. "I think it's cool enough Lily!" Severus said after dipping his finger in to test the soup's temperature. "It is?" Lily responded, "Great! I'll be right there. Thanks Sev." Severus, wanting to be subtle, then slipped out of the kitchen and put his supplies back into his bag. He was sure this would work, but there are always risks. Harry's head could grow to be the size of a watermelon, or explode altogether. That wouldn't make Lily happy at all. All Severus could do was hope that his many years of potions would pay off.

"Here you go Harry," Lily said as she handed her son the bowl of soup, "do you need anything else?" Harry shook his head. "Thanks mom, but I'm fine." "Alright then," Lily sighed, call me if you need anything." As Lily left the room, Harry took a spoonful of soup and tried it. Suddenly, he felt energized like never before. Harry felt the best he had in three years. What was in this soup? He asked himself. Harry decided to investigate in the kitchen, and because of the strength he had just gained, getting up would be easy. When Harry managed to get into the kitchen, he found a book of potions sitting on the counter. He decided to flip through to see whose it was. I'll flip to a random page, Harry said to himself. He opened the book to a random page, it was blank aside from one note:
