Fairy Tail Next Gen - Storm x Nashi

Storm POV

I decide not to answer Nash, and go back into the guild to see how Nashi's doing. I walk up to the infirmary doors, when Wendy comes running out. Her and Romeo are currently in a relationship (Keep in mind that they're probably like 28-29) together and I heard that Romeo might propose! Anyways, Wendy came out and told me that it would take a few weeks for her to heal completely, and that I couldn't visit right now because she needs to rest. I sadly shrugged, and went home.

~At Home~

"Hey Mom..." I glumly greet as I come home. Mom was home with Lucy talking about how expensive destruction bills are...even though she's responsible for a lot of them. She looks over at me, shocked at my sadness. I'm usually the happiest kid. "Hey Storm, what's wrong?" Lucy asks. I explain what happened to Nashi, and she quickly says goodbye, and leaves to go see her daughter.

My mom sets down the cup of ice tea she was drinking, and walks over to me. I'm just a few inches taller than her, causing her to have to look up at me. "Storm, what's wrong? Are you sad because of Nashi?" She curiously asks me. I sigh, and look down at my feet. "I-I'm just...I don't know. I think I might have feelings for her, but I also think that Nash does too. I don't know what too do! Do I like her? Do I just like her as a friend?" I confess. Mom thinks it over for a minute, and says, "Well, if you do like her, than you should tell her. Think it over for a while before asking. Just because Nash likes someone, doesn't mean you can't like the same person. If you're really curious, just ask Nashi who she likes. Maybe it's you." She said with a smile. That made me feel a lot better.

A FEW WEEKS LATER

Nashi POV

Storm. He's all I can think about. He basically risked his life so I'd be safe. I smile warmly at the thought. Wendy came running in with a big grin on her face. "Guess what!?" She cheerfully asked. "What?" I asked, a bit confused. "You're well enough to leave the infirmary!" I can't believe it! It's about time! Storm then came in, with his usually goofy smile. "Ya' ready to leave? We've got a surprise for you!" He exclaimed. I smiled and nodded my head. He helped me up, and we walked...well I limped, out to the main guild hall. I couldn't believe my eyes! My guild mates had decorated the whole guild in streamers, balloons, and other party decorations. "Welcome back Nashi!" They exclaimed. I was so happy, I probably cried. I didn't pay enough attention to see if I was though because I just kind of ended up hugged Storm. I don't know why, but it felt right. He was as red as Nash's hair. I giggled, melting into the hug. He, after taking a minute to understand what was going on, hugged me back. Let's party!
