Chapter 16

Flashback

Jun Ki was on his way to Dongwook's house. He was whistling around while trying to call the latter using his phone.

'The number you have dialed, is currently not available'

"Eh?" he looked at the phone

"He never turn down my calls"

He shrugged his shoulders and stepped on the pedal. As soon as he arrived at Dongwook's house, he saw two unfamiliar cars exiting his house and driving away with speed. He just looked at the cars passing by him.

He parked his car inside the area of Dongwook's house. He exited the car and proceeded to the front door.

After twice clicks on the doorbell, the door opened and he immediately said, "Dongwook ah I saw two cars-" The maids were actually at the door. "Oh. Where is Dongwook?"

"Great timing sir" they suddenly pulled him and went upstairs.

Jun Ki and the maids then arrived in front of Dongwook's room with a broken door on it.

"What the heck happened?" he asked

"We just witnessed the scene earlier but we have no idea the reason for it"

"Dongwook ah!" Jun Ki saw his friend lying unconsciously on the floor with only a towel wrapping his lower body. He saw a little bruise on the latter's face and forehead.

"Sir Jun Ki, we will give you sir Dongwook's clothes and if you could please help us get him changed?" the maids tried not to look at their almost naked master

"You want me to change his clothes? No way!" Jun Ki was disgusted. If Dongwook was a girl, of course he would do it.

"But sir-"

He cut their words, "Let's just put him in bed first. I'll wait here till he wakes up. Meanwhile you two go and get aid kit box to treat his bruises"

The next day,

"Ouch" she caressed her own cheek due to the pain she received last night.

Jessica opened her eyes to meet the digital clock placed on the small table beside her. It was 9am. She stirred in bed and turned around. She saw a beautiful young lady sleeping beside her.

She blinked her eyes a few times to get a more clear vision of the figure sleeping beside her. It wasn't Tiffany. She didn't recognize the person at all. She scanned the latter's face.

'Looks like someone familiar'

The young girl seemed to be in a deep slumber so she decided not to wake the latter up. She slowly climbed off the bed and exited the room. Jessica scratched her head while making her way to the kitchen. She made herself a hot cup of coffee. After that, she went to check on Tiffany by just taking a peek of the latter. Tiffany was in a deep slumber too. Jessica pouted and went to the living room.

There, she saw a figure sleeping on the couch. The living room was dark because of the closed curtains so she could not see the person sleeping there.

'Hmm. Perhaps it's Taeng'

She went to the curtains to open it. Using her free hand, she pulled the strings of the curtains and it opened letting the sunshine to enter Tiffany's apartment. She smiled after feeling satisfied that the apartment was much brighter now. She took a sip of her coffee and turned her body around. But suddenly her smile dropped.
