When A Stranger Kisses You

Chapter 26

Yul and Jessica decided to take a stroll on the beach after having a satisfying dinner at the beach restaurant. The venue they chose was suitable because it was summer anyway and they both needed some chilly breeze.

They both walked side by side. The tanned guy wanted to hold her hand but he hesitated.

"Can I ask you a question?" she asked

"Sure"

"Why do you like me?"

"Why do I like you?" he raised his eyebrows

"Yes. I'm just curious"

"Well, umm" he gulped. "From the bottom of my heart?"

"I just want to know why, Yul" she said

The tanned guy then stopped walking to face her.

"You're one of a kind. You are different than the others out there. Even though you have the nickname of an Ice Princess, but to me, after I got to know you better, you're actually a warm ice"

Jessica started to smile blushingly.

"And a warm ice is really rare. You are really impossible to find, Sica"

He already melted her with his words and she found him very cute because he said it while looking to the ground instead of looking at her.

"Thank you Yul" she smiled

'He is indeed different than the other guys'

There was a reason why Jessica asked him why he liked her. It's like an interview session, whenever she asks a guy she dated before about the reason they liked her, those guys kept having the same answer and she couldn't express anymore love to those certain guys.

But from what Yul had said, it's totally different. It was original, full of passion, and romantic.

"Umm, what about you?" he suddenly asked

"Me?"

"Yeah. I wanna know too"

"Why do I like you?" she asked back

"Yes. I'm just curious" he silently chuckled which caused her to chuckle as well.

"Well, you're tall, dark-skinned, you live in America" of course she was teasing him withthose simple words

She then saw him pouting.

"I was just kidding" she giggled

The pout on his face then slowly turned into a grin.

"I'm starting to like you more because of what you said to me just now. Those words were really different than what I've heard before this. Oh! And you are really really kind and warm-hearted, I just don't get it. I mean, have you not got angry once?"

"Umm, there's nothing to be angry about" he scratched the back of his neck

"You're indeed an easy going person. And no guy dared to kiss me without my permission and we kis-"

To talk about their first kiss when they were in Korea was sort of a shy topic to be brought out for those two.

"I'm sorry" Jessica looked away

Yul smiled at the sight seeing the latter showing her back and just watched the sea. He walked nearer and stood beside her.

Gently, he let his fingers to intertwine with hers. He tightened his fingers and smiled warmly at her.
