Part 3

*2 months later* After the tour was over, Jayy and Dahvie were back home and now they were getting ready for their baby.
One day, Dahvie was in the kitchen looking through the refridgerator when Jayy came up behind him and wrapped his arms around Dahvie's waist and put his hands on his growing belly.
"She's moving around like crazy this morning." Jayy said
Dahvie laughed and said "Not just this morning."
"So is that why you were on the couch at 2:00 am this morning eating a bowl of peanut butter ice cream?" Jayy asked
"Maybe." Dahvie replied with a smile as he put a hand over Jayy's hands then kissed him on the cheek
"Come on. Don't be shy about it...you know it's true." Jayy said as he reached over and pulled the milk from the fridge
Dahvie turned and said "Of course I'm not being shy about it. I was just hungry...and I couldn't sleep."
Jayy laughed and said "That's because the baby keeps moving around, silly!"
Dahvie smiled and pulled the container of berries out of the fridge and closed the door then said as he proceeded to get the cereal "I was thinking today we should go shopping for the baby again."
"Why? We already have a stroller and teddy bear." Jayy asked
"But we don't have a crib or furniture. And we don't even have clothes, toys or diapers." Dahvie said
Jayy poured milk into a glass and replied "I see your point."
Later, Dahvie and Jayy went to a children's store at the mall.
They were trying to find the perfect baby furniture.
But so far, no luck.
They still didn't know the sex of their child (even if Jayy assumed it was going to be a girl.)
However, they found a lot of toys and clothes.
"Jayy, why is there more girls' clothes than boys' clothes?" Dahvie asked already getting the feeling of what the answer might be
"Don't you think just a little that we might have a girl?" Jayy asked
Dahvie smiled and said "I think you want a girl."
Jayy blushed and looked around then asked "What makes you think that?"
"Oh come on, Jayy. You know exactly what I mean. You refer to the baby as 'she' all the time! Just admit you want a girl. I won't get angry." Dahvie said
Jayy took Dahvie in his arms and whispered in his ear "Yeah...I want a girl."
Soon, their hug broke when Dahvie's phone went off.
Before he could take it out of his pocket himself, Jayy reached into Dahvie's pocket and looked at the screen.
"You scheduled an appointment with our midwife today?" he asked
"Yeah. I thought you would want to listen to the baby's heartbeat." Dahvie replied
Jayy smiled then rubbed Dahvie's growing belly and said "Of course I do!"
Later as they waited for their midwife, Dahvie put his hand on his small baby bump and looked over at Jayy as he was texting with Jeffree.
"What?" Jayy asked
"I'm so nervous." Dahvie said
Jayy looked up from his phone and replied "Try to think about something else."
"That's very hard when the baby's moving around inside me." Dahvie said
Jayy put a hand on Dahvie's small belly and said "Just try to relax and think about hearing that heartbeat."
Just as Dahvie was about to speak, the midwife walked through the door.
Jayy and Dahvie looked up and tried to greet her in unison but, she was first to greet them.
"Hello Dahvie!" she said as she stuck her hand out for him to shake
Dahvie just stared at her hand became even more nervous.
"He's just nervous." Jayy said
"It happens with all first time parents." the midwife said "So. Who wants to see how the baby's doing?"
Before Dahvie could say anything, Jayy began to tickle him in the ribs to get him to raise his hands.
"J-jayy...s-stop it!...hahahaha!!!" Dahvie giggled as he finally raised his arms
The midwife smiled and said "Okay! Let's see how the little one is doing." as she prepared Dahvie for his ultrasound
Jayy and Dahvie looked over at the screen for the image of their baby to appear when they heard the sound of a heartbeat.
"Do you hear that, Jayy?" Dahvie asked with a smile as he looked up at Jayy
Jayy looked at Dahvie and replied "Yeah. She sounds great!"
Dahvie laughed at Jayy and said "Come on. You're still calling the baby that?"
"Why not? I already told Jeffree about our baby." Jayy replied
Dabvie laughed at Jayy.
"What?" Jayy asked
"I can already imagine him begging us to plan our baby shower." Dahvie replied
"Shit! What have I done?!" Jayy asked
Dahvie looked at Jayy and comforted him, saying "It's okay Jayy Von. I'm not mad at you for telling him."
