Part 10

As Dahvie slept, Jayy bathed Lauren and got her ready for bed.

Then, after tucking Lauren in, he got in bed next to Dahvie.

Later that morning, Dahvie was the first one up.

He looked in on Jayy and Lauren before walking out of the room.

After Dahvie left, it wasn't long until Lauren started to cry.

Jayy rolled over and got up to pick up Lauren to calm her down.

"Hey Lauren...ssshh...don't cry." he whispered

Soon, Dahvie came back and asked "Something wrong, Jayy?"

"I think our little girl is hungry." Jayy said

"Mind if I give you a break?" Dahvie asked as he held out his arms

"Yes." Jayy replied as he handed Lauren over to her 'mother'

Once Dahvie received Lauren, he sat by the window and prepared Lauren to be fed.

When Lauren latched on to Dahvie's chest, he giggled and whispered "You missed this. I can tell."

Jayy sat next to Dahvie and watched as he fed Lauren.

"So, what do you want to do today?" Jayy asked

Dahvie thought and asked "How about we go to the beach later?"

Then, Jayy's phone rang with a reminder.

"What's that?" Dahvie asked as he finished feeding Lauren then, moved her to his shoulder to be burped

"I totally forgot! We've got to continue our project." Jayy said

"Oh. I guess the beach can wait." Dahvie said

Later, Jayy moved Lauren's swing into the studio as Dahvie walked around the studio while cuddling Lauren in his arms and whispering to her.

"Alright, let's work on this project." Jayy said as he set Lauren's swing down

Dahvie kissed Lauren on the cheek and replied "Yeah." as he passed her over to Jayy

"Hey little princess, I hope this won't bore you too much to watch us work." Dahvie said as he knelt in front of the swing as Jayy put her in

Lauren just cooed and reached for Dahvie's necklace as he leaned in to kiss his little girl on top of her head.

At this, Jayy smiled and said "We're not going anywhere, beautiful. We'll be right here here."

Dahvie just nuzzled Lauren and said "We love you so much." then, he and Jayy stood up to go sit at the sound boards

As they worked, both Dahvie and Jayy tried to sneak peeks at Lauren to see if she was okay.

Jayy looked back and saw that Lauren had fallen asleep.

"Dahvie, look!" Jayy said as he tapped Dahvie on the shoulder

Dahvie looked around and smiled.

"Awwww!" Dahvie cooed as he then got up and gave Lauren her teddy bear

Lauren stirred in her sleep then, began to whimper.

"Is Lauren alright?" Jayy asked as he turned around

Dahvie picked Lauren up and readjusted her blanket then, went back to the soundboard and said "I think Lauren just wanted to spend time with us."

Jayy looked over and said "Maybe we should have used her sling."

"Good idea, Jayy Von!" Dahvie replied as he stood up then handed Lauren over

"Where are you going Dahvs?" Jayy asked

"I'm just going to get her sling." Dahvie said

"Okay." Jayy replied as he began to swivel his chair from side to side to soothe Lauren

As he did this, Lauren clung to his shirt and cuddled into his chest.

Soon, Dahvie came back with Lauren's sling and smiled when he saw Jayy rocking Lauren while holding her close to his chest.

"That's so cute!" Dahvie whispered as he knelt in front of Jayy and unfolded Lauren's sling as Jayy took off Lauren's blanket and put her in the sling

"I'll get in the booth first and you can join me later." Dahvie said with a wink

Jayy finished strapping Lauren to himself and then looked at Dahvie and asked "How are we going to keep Lauren quiet?"

"Don't worry. As long as she's near us, she'll be fine." Dahvie said as he gave Lauren her soother then, walked into the recording booth as Jayy stood up and picked up Lauren's bag then, followed Dahvie in the booth.

As they recorded the song they had been working on, Dahvie looked over and saw that Lauren had fallen asleep.

Jayy looked down as he kept singing and smiled as he watched little Lauren sleep.

Then, Dahvie and Jayy smiled at each other as they finished the song.

Later that night, Dahvie and Jayy took Lauren for a walk on the beach.

As they walked hand in hand, Dahvie played with Lauren while Jayy pushed her stroller.

"Smile for mommy and daddy!" Dahvie cooed while wiggling his fingers

Lauren laid in her stroller and giggled as she reached up and tried to grab Dahvie's fingers.

Dahvie picked Lauren up and nuzzled her as Lauren cooed.

"Hey Dahvs!" Jayy said as he pointed to the setting sun

Dahvie looked over at Jayy and asked "What's going on, Jayy?"

"Isn't the sunset beautiful?" Jayy asked as he put an arm around Dahvie

"It's even more beautiful just watching it with you." Dahvie said as he leaned in for a kiss

Jayy leaned in as well and just as they were about to kiss, Lauren let out a small cry.

Both Jayy and Dahvie looked down at Lauren and tried to calm her down.

"What's wrong Lauren?...hmm?" Jayy asked as he looked at their baby "Are you hungry?"

Jayy tried to offer her a bottle but, she just pushed it away.

Then, Dahvie looked around and lifted his shirt so Lauren could nurse.

"So that's what she wanted." Jayy said with a smile as he watched Lauren doze off to the sound of the waves rolling in
