Family of Blood

Part 9

Later at the zoo, Jayy and Dahvie were having fun showing their little girl the reptiles.
Lauren tried to keep her eyes open as Dahvie looked down at her and smiled.
"Where should we go next?" Jayy asked
"I hear the bird habitat is open." Dahvie said
Then, Lauren looked up at her parents and cooed.
"Would you like to see some birdies, baby?" Jayy cooed as he let her grab his finger
Lauren just looked at her father and gurgled.
"I think that's a 'yes'." Dahvie said with a giggle
Later at the bird habitat, Dahvie handed Lauren to Jayy so he could take a picture of them and post it to the official facebook page.
Of course, there were other pictures of Lauren on both Jayy and Dahvie's accounts (the very first being of Lauren taken the day she was born appeared on Jayy's instagram) and today was one of those days that Dahvie wanted to add to the official facebook.
"Okay smile!" Dahvie said from behind his phone
Jayy cuddled Lauren and and smiled as Lauren reached for Dahvie's phone.
Just as Dahvie was about to take the picture, a bird flew out of the aviary and landed on top of Dahvie's head.
"Ready?" Dahvie asked
"Uh Dahvie?" Jayy said as Lauren cooed
Dahvie looked up from his phone and asked "Yes?"
"There's a bird on your head." Jayy replied
Dahvie reached up to feel around for the bird and got bit on the hand.
"Ow!" Dahvie said
"How are we going to get this bird off of your head?" Jayy asked as he continued to cuddled Lauren
"I don't know." Dahvie replied "But in the meantime, let's continue taking the picture."
Jayy got back into his pose cuddling Lauren and Dahvie was about to take the picture until a net was thrown over him.
"Seriously?! This is ruining our baby's first trip to the zoo!" Jayy ranted as Lauren began to cry
"Don't worry Lauren! Mommy will be out of this net in a second!" Dahvie said as he struggled to get out of the net
"Wait! Did you just say 'Mommy'?" Jayy asked confused
"Well, you're the Daddy." Dahvie replied
"Good point." Jayy said
Later at the zoo cafeteria, Jayy fed Lauren as Dahvie tried to calm down from the previous experience.
"Dahvie, I don't see why you're so upset. It's just an embarrassing moment." Jayy said as he fed Lauren
Dahvie just sighed and said "I don't know if we should continue the trip.  I don't want to expose Lauren to any more embarrassing moments."
Jayy looked up and asked "You want to go home now?"
Dahvie nodded in reply.
That night, Dahvie was playing with  Lauren as she was in her swing when Jayy walked out in one of his drag costumes.
"Are you ready to go, Dahvie?" Jayy asked as he packed Lauren's diaper bag
"Maybe you and Lauren should go. I'm kind of tired from earlier." Dahvie said as he took Lauren out of her swing and handed her to Jayy so he could get her ready Lauren looked at her father and giggled as she pulled on his wig.
"You might want to change her before you go." Dahvie said as he got up and walked toward the bedroom.
"Well, that explains why Lauren's wet." Jayy replied as he began to remove their daughter's onesie
"It's my fault. I should have noticed that before." Dahvie said as he walked out with another onesie in hand "Now she's going to have diaper rash for a week!"
"Relax. You're stressing yourself out too much, Dahvs." Jayy said as he proceeded to dress Lauren in the clean onesie then swaddle her in her blanket and pick her up as Lauren continued to pull on Jayy's wig "why don't you try to get some sleep and I'll see you tonight."
"Okay." Dahvie sighed as he and Jayy kissed then, Dahvie kissed Lauren on forehead
Later at the club, Jayy pushed Lauren's stroller as she slept.
As he walked backstage while pushing Lauren's stroller, he passed the other performers in the show.
"She is so adorable!" Jayy heard as Lauren stirred awake
Jayy picked Lauren up and cuddled her as he went through her bag in search of her bottle then, just as he began to feed Lauren, he turned to face the person who was speaking to him.
"Hi!" he greeted
"Awww! Jayy Von, your baby is so cute!" Jayy's friend said
"Yes. Lauren is beautiful!" Jayy agreed as he looked down at his little girl with love
"So. When was she born?" Jayy's friend asked
"Lauren was born 5 days ago." Jayy replied as he burped Lauren
"Oh my God! So new!" Jayy's friend said
Soon, something hit Jayy in the back of the head as Jayy's friend left.
Jayy handed Lauren over to Jeffree who had ,been standing by then shouted "Who threw that?!"
"Sorry Jayy! I just lost my grip!" Another performer said as he walked over to pick up the thrown object
Jayy looked at Jeffree in confusion and said "That was awkward."
"Very." Jeffree agreed
Later, Jayy pulled into the the garage then, checked the rear view mirror to look at Lauren sleeping in her car seat.
As Jayy got out of the driver's side and opened the backseat door, he kissed Lauren on top of her head as he unbuckled her and picked her up.
Inside, Dahvie was picking up Lauren's stuffed animals and toys in the living room.
"We're home!" Jayy whispered as Dahvie looked around
"Awwww! She's finally asleep." Dahvie said as Jayy shushed him
"I spent nearly an hour trying to get her to go to sleep." Jayy said
"What did you do?" Dahvie asked
"I tried bouncing her in the parking lot but, my shoes became uncomfortable and I didn't want Lauren to get hot. So, I got into the car and began to drive home. I didn't know the sound of an engine would put her to sleep." Jayy said
"Well, it worked!" Dahvie said smiling
"Yeah." Jayy replied

If you haven't heard already, BOTDF is breaking up and that means NO MORE JAHVIE! 😭 But, I'm going to continue this story anyway because it's an alternate universe story.
