CHAPTER I: The Year 2134
As the TARDIS flies through the never ending swirling tunnel which is the time vortex, a lonely, old Time-Lord sits on a chair, directly opposite the TARDIS console, reading a book. The Time-Lord known only by the name of the Doctor lifts his head and says "So-", before he could finish the or even begin the sentence he remembered that he was alone again.
He stood up from the old car chair that had been placed in front of the console and walked slowly around the console, flicking, pressing and pulling buttons and levers to help guide his flight through time and space. The Doctor decided to travel to the 22nd century, the year 2134, the TARDIS sparked and the Doctor ran around the console, grabbing a mallet hanging from the console and started whacking the TARDIS. Eventually the TARDIS groaned and roared as it landed in the year 2134.
The Doctor grabbed his long, brown trench coat from the hatstand which stood next to the doors and walked out of the TARDIS. As he stepped out of the tall, wooden Police Box he smelt the smell of the future, pollution among other things. He put his hands in his pockets and walked, looking at many of the futuristic buildings, made out of glass, mostly even the houses were at least half glass by now, this was until he came ac cross this big old warehouse, it had a tall, large brick wall with barbed wire on top all around the giant warehouse. It had signs saying keep out, restricted area and everything. He stood there looking at it, he was curious at why it was still there, a woman walked next to him and said "Havn't seen you around these parts before." the Doctor turned his head quickly, immediately replying saying "No, i've only just arrived here." "Its odd isn't it, the massive amount of grass they have just left here, empty with not a thing on it." The Doctor quickly replied saying "What? There's a massive warehouse right there." pointing at the unmissable building, the woman replied with a confused look on her face "No...its just an empty space" The Doctor ran up to the large brick wall and said "No, look there's a brick wall with a warehouse on the other side of it right here!" repeatably hitting the wall. The then woman started to walk away, the Doctor ran after her and said "Look, what d you see when you look there?" The woman replied in a sharp voice "Look, I said what it is there, a plain field, kids play football there, people have picnics, its just a community area." The woman walked away and the Doctor looked back at the warehouse with a confused look on his face, staring at the wear house. The Doctor ran back to the walls, guarding the warehouse and pulled out his sonic screwdriver, he scanned the walls and ran back to the TARDIS, he zoomed through the doors and up to the console room, he put his sonic screwdriver into a slot on the TARDIS console panels and pulled the scanner towards him. The Doctor's eyebrows raised as he found out that the warehouse was somesort of illusion which is only visible to people who have met the race who own it.
