The Doctor awoke in what appeared to be some sort of chamber or cell, he was tied up with his hands cuffed to the ceiling and his ankles cuffed so he could not move his legs. As his vision cleared he saw four Daleks, they looked slightly different to what he remembered. A Dalek moved his head, now looking towards the Doctor and noticing that he has awoken, unaware that this was the Doctor. The Dalek moved towards the Doctor and the Doctor tried to free himself by pulling his arms and legs. As the Dalek got to the Doctor, the Dalek immediately said in its menacing, metallic voice "HOW DID YOU GET IN HERE.", The Doctor kept his head downwards, "ANSWER THE QUESTION, OR YOU WILL SUFFER." The Doctor continued to ignore. The Dalek turned his head to one of the other three Daleks, this Dalek was standing in front of a dome shaped control on the wall, this Dalek put his plunger onto the dome shaped control and a panel in the middle of the ceiling opened and a kind of energy beam shooter was lowered. The Dalek which was interrogating the Doctor moved over to the shooter, which was directly in front of the Doctor and said "WE DID SAY YOU WOULD SUFFER." The Dalek activated to energy shooter with its plunger and a beam of energy went shooting into the Doctor's stomach, the Doctor yelled out in pain. The Dalek then continued, "HOW DID YOU GET HERE.". Suddenly, the door was blown open and five soldiers came running in with weapons that could deactivate the Daleks for a limited amount of time.
The soldiers walked up to the captive Doctor and freed him. "Who are-" Before he could finish the sentence he noticed a badge on the soldier's arm which said Torchwood, "Torchwood? I havn't seen Torchwood in years. And I thought Torchwood was a small group, you know Captain Jack Harkness and that." The soldier then replied, "Times change, Torchwood grew. Captain Jack Harkness is still part of it though.", "Well, how long are these Daleks deactivated for?" "Not long, we should get moving, we came across Daleks trying to get to you." The Doctor ran over to his coat which was on the side and ran out of the chamber with the rest of the soldiers. "Wait, how did you know I was in there?" "Well, bit of coincidence really, we came to this year in time and happened to see a Police Box, and who would see a Police Box in the 22nd Century, then we came across this warehouse which people started to say was just a big bit of empty old grass, it had your name written all over it, not to mention the gates had already been opened." The Doctor replied, "Well, fair enough, whats your name by the way?" "Katy Williams, Doctor.", The Doctor and the five Torchwood troops continued walking down the corridor until the Doctor came across something he wanted to investigate.
