As they pull up to the venue, Nash realizes that he will have to pull himself together for the fans, he couldn't let them see what was wrong with him. They seemed to be very observant and could tell if anything was wrong with him even if it was something little.

Shawn was still holding him tightly. He owed that boy so much. He shouldn't have to pull Nash back together every time that he fell apart, it wasn't fair. Nash had told him this once and he told him to shut up and enjoy being pampered. But that was the thing he didn't like. Sure Nash wasn't the most macho man around, but he was a man and he could take care of himself. But most recently it seemed like he was having trouble doing that.

As they get out of the car Shawn switches his attachment to Nash's hips and grabs his hand instead rubbing small circles against his thumb. Shawn was going to be a great husband someday, and Nash knew it. He was so caring and filled with so much love. Whoever ended up with him would be incredibly lucky. If Nash wasn't so in love with Cameron, he knows that he would have eventually fallen for Shawn. Shawn was just-

Comfortable.

And that's what he liked about Shawn, he was comfortable, and he would never have to worry about Shawn breaking his heart. But it wouldn't feel right and Nash knew it. Why did he have to fall for Cameron?

Because you always for the person you can't have...

If he was in love with Shawn things would be so much easier. But maybe he didn't like easy. It was boring. Maybe he wanted a challenge, as stupid as it may sound considering he always fell for either the asshole or the straight guy. Funny how life had its way of being a bitch.

They walk into the venue and Shawn leaves not before telling him that he loves him and goes to practice on his guitar. Nash nods sitting on the couch pulling out his phone and getting on Twitter to boost his spirits a bit. He laughs at a couple of tweets and favorites them.

Nash hears Shawn playing on his guitar and Nash puts down his phone leaning back against the couch to listen. Nash loved the sound of Shawn's voice. It was soulful but also light and sweet.

It was almost like Nash's secret personal drug, it always helped when he was in a bad mood or sad about Cameron. Shawn would sing to him, and it always made him feel better.

Shawn doesn't recognize the tune of the song but decides to listen anyways because he loves his voice regardless.

Girl it should be me

Driving to your house

Knocking on your door

Kissing you on the mouth

Nash liked the song already and nodded his head to the tune of the song.

Holding on ya hand

Dancing in the dark

Cuz I was the only one who loved you from the start

But now when I see you with him

It tears my world apart

Because

I've been waiting

All this time to finally say it

But now I see your heart's been taken

And nothing could be worse

Baby I loved you first
