Sam POV

It's been two days since the incident, myself back in my chamber. I haven't been able to move, but I was alright. Sitting in the dim, green lit space had given me time to relax and recuperate. Anti had given me quite the beating.

I'd laid on the floor for about ten minutes before Sean came rushing downstairs to fetch me. Now, back in my septic eye form, I was weaker than what I could handle. I laid at the bottom of my tank, completely immobile. Sean would come and check on me, but other than that, I was alone.

"Hey, Sammy." Sean walked in, his face pale and his nose red from crying. I swam over to the edge of the glass, gazing up at him.

He smiled, opening the top and scooping me out. "She's alright... Anti's gone too." he held back a wave of sorrow and anxiety. I blinked, looking up at him.

He relaxed his shoulders, "Sam... stop. I'm fine, I swear it." but I gave him a puppy-eye look. "Sammy... Stooop." he tapped my tail. I slapped it gently on his hand.

He shook his head, looking me over with worry, "He got you pretty good, didn't he?" he asked.

I blinked in agreement, as I was coated iris to tail with gashes from that arse, Anti. I wondered where he actually came from. And whether or not it was worth killing him off or not. Oh well, he was gone for now. And with another smile, Sean placed me back in my tank.

"Sweet dreams, Sammy. Try to relax a little more, okay?" then he left. I loved him. And I was glad he found y/n.

Jack POV

I jogged down from the attic, going into y/n's room to check on her. She was playing Minecraft on her phone, jamming to something with her headphones in. I knocked, walking in.

She undid one headphone, "Heya, Sean. What's up?" she asked, saving her game.

I sat on her bed, "Nothin' much. But I wanted to ask somethin." I looked up at her, as I was staring at my feet.

She paused her music and set her phone aside, undoing the other headphone, "Alright. Go ahead."

I swallowed, "Will you go out with me?" I asked, the image of Sam telling me I should ask her running through my head.

She flipped out, "Yes! Of course I will!" then came the bear hug. She almost tackled me, that girl did. I had to stick out my leg in order to keep from falling backwards off the bed.

I laughed, hugging her back, "Thank you, y/n." I said, making her grin wider.

"Anytime, Boss." she laughed, making me smile. Now it was official, we were a thing.

**So sorry for lack of updates, been having internet problems and writer's block. Both together equal no updates. Also, thank you for my first book, In Love With A Myth, for gaining over 4K reads! Love it! Hope fully, that'll happen to this book. Anyways, getting back into the  groove and will update more soon. Thanks!**
