Your POV
We arrived at the club, a smile spreading across my face. If only Sean was here. As the night went on, I felt a deepening sickness wash over me. I missed him. I rested my head in my hand, staring out the window to the neon lights outside.
"Y/n. Something the matter?" my one friend asked, setting her hand on my shoulder.
"Hm?" I looked over, "No, no. Just miss Sean..." my voice trailed off.
She smiled, "It's okay. You'll be back with him by midnight. I promise."
I smiled back, nodding.
"Good, now let's partay!"
Sean POV
I laid on my bed, staring at the ceiling. What was there to do without y/n? I didn't feel like recording a video, so that was out. Maybe Mark was still awake? I sat up, checking my phone; Nine PM. He should be.
I got to my feet, plopping into my chair before turning on my monitor and tower. The screen popped on with a glaring light, blinding me for a second. I blinked it away, adjusting to the brightness. I opened up Skype and clicked 'call' underneath Mark's name. I then leaned back, rubbing my face to try to wake up a bit. After a few rings, he answered.
"Hey, Sean..." he gave a big yawn, turning on his lamp, "Whatcha calling this late for?"
"I need someone to talk to..." I rubbed the bridge of my nose, "I already talked to Sam."
He gave a tired and confused look, "So in other words, you're bored?" he asked, taking a sip of coffee from a green Creeper mug.
I nodded, leaning over my keyboard, "Y/n's off with some friends fer a girl's night."
He perked up, "So it's about y/n, then? You miss her?"
"Yeah. I can't stop thinking about her. I'm lacking sleep, Mark. I need help." I whined, resting my face in my hands.
I heard him laugh, "Dude. You don't need help. It's called love sickness. You miss y/n." he explained.
I groaned, "I know I miss her... I just don't know what ta do about it."
He sighed, shaking his head, "You've come to the right place, my friend. Dr. Markiplier is here to help."
"Good god, no. Maaaark..." I rubbed my face again.
"First off, do NOT start boredom eating."
I looked at him with a confused look, "Mark, what tha fook are ye talkin' about?"
"Aht." he rose a finger to shush me, "Second, call her. Vocal insurance tends to help a LOT."
I snatched up my phone, Mark going on, "Third-"
"Mark, shush it. Let me call her real quick..." I tapped her number, holding the phone to my ear.
It rang once, twice, three times before she answered, "Hello?"
"Hey, y/n. How- how're you doin' over there?" I stuttered, Mark making little hearts with his hands.
"Just about to go dancing. Let me guess, you miss me too? Er- I mean-"
I laughed a little, "You miss me?"
I could almost see her smile, "Yeah. Yeah that's what I meant." I smiled, resting my head in my free hand.
"Sorry for tha random call, I just-"
"It was Mark, wasn't it?" she giggled.
Mark chimed in, "No no. Not me, I didn't do anything, I swear."
I laughed, y/n laughing as well, "I'll see you tonight around midnight, okay?" she asked.
"Fine with me, just be home by at least one. I don't need ta be left alone that long." I replied.
"Alright. See you then..." her voice trailed off, "Love you."
Then she hung up, leaving her stunned. Those two words just shocked me. Mark grinned, laughing.
"OOOOOOH! She said the two little words! That's so cute!" I just lightly set down my phone on my desk, resting my head in both hands before releasing a high-pitched, excited squeal- right into my microphone.
Mark fell back out of his chair, his face no longer on-screen.
"Oh Mark!" I covered my mouth, "Sorry, buddy..."
His hand appeared on the desk, "It's alright, Sean... Just- warn me next time!" his face appeared again, him putting his chair upright again.
I laughed, his hair messed up, "Mark, your hair-"
He looked into the reflection of his monitor, "AHK!" with quick motions, he fixed it, sitting back in his chair.
"Alright. Feel better?"
"Yes."
"Good, now go ahead and grab you up some cookie ice cream and relax. Alright?" he asked, taking a sip of a random energy drink, making a face, "Ugh, it's warm."
I grinned, shaking my head, "How old's that?"
"Two days..." he mumbled, taking another drink.
I nodded, "Nice, Mark." I leaned back, "I'll see you later, then?"
He shrugged, "Fine with me, good night then. And get some sleep." he pointed a finger at the screen.
"Alright alright. G'night, Mark." and we ended the call. I smiled, getting up, turning off my monitor, and flopping face-first onto my bed. With a sigh, I relaxed, hugging a pillow.
I looked at my clock, ten. Two more hours until y/n came home. Couldn't wait. But I was suddenly tired, exhaustion catching up with me. I yawned, closing my eyes. Before I knew it, I was asleep.
