Captain Rajveer enters the mess for getting a cup of coffee. Because of the crowd, his eyes escape from seeing Naina. But Naina's eyes catch him, asking for a cup of coffee. Placing her coffee tumbler on the table, she starts playing with the handle of the tumbler.
(While this whole time, in the background, plays the tune of Rajveer-Naina)
As Captain Rajveer takes the coffee tumbler and turns to leave, he discovers Naina staring at him. Naina quickly changes her vision. Rajveer slows down his speed, his eyes gazing Naina. Rajveer moves towards them, smiling he asks,
"Aur cadets how have your experiences been, till now in KMA?"
"Sir ji, mera to bohot mast din ja raha hai",
answers Huda.
"hmm... hmm...",
replies Rajveer, smiling.
"Haan Cadet Huda wo to dikh hi raha hai"
"O teri apko mera naam bhi yaad ho gaya!",
exclaims Huda.
"Cadet Huda KMA mein rehne ka first usool hai - jisse aap ek baar mil lo ussey kabhi bhulo mat. Kyunki kya pata wohi insaan jisse aap abhi mil rahe ho, future mein apka dushman ban jaye ya...",
then staring at Naina he continues,
"dost!".
Smiling, he turns back to look at Huda.
"Ji Sir aap ye bilkul sahi keh rahe ho",
says Pooja.
"Alright Miss Pooja Ghai, you all continue. We'll meet soon in the class",
giving a last look at Naina, he turns to leave. Then again turning back, he addresses to Naina,
"Cadet...",
he waits for her, to give her name to him. Although he knows her name, but wanting her to speak to him, he deliberately pokes her to tell her name.
"Naina a Singh",
says Naina, getting nervous as she didn't expect him asking her name in front of all of them.
"Cadet Naina a Singh, interesting",
then smiling, he continues,
"Would you mind coming into my room in few minutes?"
"Yes Sir!",
replies Naina in a confused state, thinking why does he want to meet her? What he wants to talk to her about? Raising an eyebrow he jokes,
"Yes Sir? You'll mind?"
"No Sir! I mean...",
she keeps staring at him, unable to find words. Smiling he says,
"Relax Cadet, meet me in my room",
and leaves.
At night...
All the cadets get into their rooms after light outs. Cadet Huda and Yudi share the same room; and Cadet Ali and Alekh share the same room. Ali finds it difficult to sleep so he goes to Huda and Yudi's room. Shaking hands with Huda, he sits on the bed and starts conversation.
"Humein neend nahi aa rahi thi, yun hi tehl rahe the, apke room ki light jali hui dikhi to socha aap dono se mil kar kuch baat kar lein agar aap dono soye nahi hain to"
"Bilkul sahi socha tu ne yaar",
says Huda.
"Haan bro, neend to mujhe bhi nahi aa rahi thi",
says Yudi.
"Apun ko bhi neend nahi aa reli hai",
says Alekh, pushing the door, holding the handle, he stands at the enterance of Huda and Yudi's room.
"Aaja bhai tu bhi aaja".
Alekh enters and join them.
