A New World

Zayn's POV

As soon as we got to this 'camp' the lads and I climbed out and walked in. I saw a guy with brown hair and a scruffy beard. But that was just his top half. His bottom half was a white stallion.

There was also a guy my age with black hair swooping over his forehead and green eyes and a girl my age with curly blond hair and grey, stormy eyes. They were holding hands and they both looked very athletic which made me jealous because I was never the athletic person in my school.

"Hey Paul!" The guy said. "Hey," he replied. The horse guy, the girl, and the boys walked up to us. "Guys, this is Percy Jackson, Annabeth Chase, and Chiron," Paul told us. They waved. "Percy, Annabeth, this is Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan, and Harry Styles," he said, motioning to us in turn.

We waved. "Have they been claimed yet?" Annabeth asked.

"What do you mean by claimed?" Harry asked. 

"You're not fully human. You're half god. It depends on if your mom or dad is mortal, you'll get a sign by your parent, which is usually their symbol, saying that you're their child," Percy explained.

"I don't believe it. This is some kind of mistake," Niall said in disbelief.

"Believe it. It's hard to believe that all the Greek gods, goddess', monsters, and basically everything in Greek mythology is real. But it is real. Take a look Niall. We're just a couple of yards away from the magical boarders of the camp. These boarders keep monsters out and only let demigods in. You made it in because you have godly blood in you," Annabeth told him.

"So...I only had a mom growing up. So my dad is...a god?" Niall asked.

"Yep," Annabeth replied.

"So the reason why I don't have a dad is...," Louis' voice trailed off.

"Yeah Louis. You dad is a god," Percy said. 

"So my mom is a goddess then?" Liam asked.

Annabeth nodded.  

"None of them have been claimed yet, but Liam here fought his first monsters," Paul told them. They looked at him while Liam started to blush. "Nice Liam! You're just like me!" Percy exclaimed.

"What kind of monster?" Annabeth asked. "Empousai," Paul answered for him. Annabeth nodded.

"How'd you beat it?" She asked again. Liam just shrugged. "I don't know. It was all strategy if you asked me. I just looked for their weak spot and just used a technique I learned in school to fight it," he replied. 

Annabeth looked at him and smirked. "You sound an awful lot like an Athena child," she said. "Athena? Like the goddess of wisdom and battle strategy? How do you know?" Liam asked. "I'm a daughter of Athena," she replied.

"I'm a son of Poseidon," Percy added. 

As if on cue, something appeared over Liam's head. It looked a lot like an...owl. Annabeth looked at Liam and smiled. "It looks like you're my half brother now," she said with a smile.

I realized what happened. Liam was claimed. His mom was Athena, goddess of wisdom and battle strategy.

Liam looked above his head and smile. "Son of Athena. I like that," Liam said, with a grin. "Want me to show you our cabin Liam?" Annabeth asked. Liam nodded in agreement. They walked off into the camp.

"When do we get claimed?" Harry asked.  

"It depends on your parent. You'll most likely get claimed by tonight," Paul replied.
