Grayson's POV

An obnoxious sound pulls me from my slumber.

*bling* *bling* *bling* (yes Grayson's hotline is blinging)

i roll out of bed and squeeze my eyes closed before reopening them so I can tend to the loud object lighting up on my night stand. I rub my eyes in order to unblur them so that I can see the caller ID but it's no use, it's too early, or too late, what time is it? I slide my finger across the screen and hold it up to my ear.

g "hello?"

anon "Dolan?"

g "who the fuck is this?"

anon "I don't think you are going to want to raise your tone with me. this isn't about you, it's about your brother."

g "what about him?"

anon "I just need you to pass on a message for me."

g "Tell me what this is about."

anon "tell him this , "you didn't think you could just leave and us not find you did you? because boy you are wrong, my men have been following you around for weeks, I know where you live and I know where your sister lives so if you don't give me what you owe me, we will come for you and like they say. You can run but if you think you can hide, you're already dead."

g "what the f-"

the line goes dead and I am left there baffled. What has he been doing the past almost 2 years? I swear if that motherfucker gets me involved in this gang shit I'm going to kill him myself.

I pick my phone up from the place on my bed  that I threw it and dial Cameron's phone. She doesn't pick up so I get into my car and drive to my mothers house.  while I'm in the car my mind is racing and before I know it I am pulling up the familiar driveway.

I take the key out of my wallet and unlock the door closing it softly then jogging up the stairs. I go straight to Cameron's room and open the door. I see Cameron laying sound asleep in her bed. A rush of relief flows through me. I walk up to the side of her bed and tap her shoulder lightly causing her to move around a bit, still remaining asleep. I tap her shoulder again but with a little more force and calling her name as well. Her eyes squeeze shut and she mumbles incoherent words and stretches out her legs and arms.

"Cam." I whisper yell, not wanting to wake my mother who is most likely in the room across the hall.

Cameron's eyes shoot open and she screeches a little before yelling "You scared the shit out of me!" in a hushed tone.

"sorry, where's E?" I get right to the point.

"who?" She asks her brows furrowed in confusion.

"Ethan, our brother." I say hurriedly.

"how am I supposed to know?" she says before pulling the covers over her head.

"No this is important!" I say desperately.

"Can't you two have a heart-to-heart in the morning?" She says from under the covers. I groan in frustration and clench my fists.

"It's not about having a fucking heart-to-heart this is about both of your safety!" I yell throwing a pillow at the door causing it to close slightly. She seems to see how important this is because she sits up and flips her lamp on looking at me dead in the eye.

"Gray are you fighting again?" She asks completely serious.

"what- no , well yes but that is not what this is about." I say, taken back by her question.

"Grayson Bailey Dolan you promised me you wouldn't fight again after what happened!" She says looking like she is about to cry.

"It's not like that this time I swear!" I convince her trying to end this conversation. "anyway, I need to know where Ethan is, I can't tell you why but I really need to know where he is or was or could be." I fumble.

"Why can't you tell me why?" She frowns.

"Cam!" I say loudly starting to get stressed out.

"I don't know Grayson!" she says.
"the last time I heard from him was 2 days ago and he was staying with Peter. "

"that's it? you sure?" I say standing up.

"I'm sure." She hugs me.

"lock the doors and don't open the door or let anyone in unless it's me or Frankie, not even the mailman." I say sternly.

"why would I let the mailman inside anyway?" she questions, her voice light but nervous. "be careful." she whispers.

"always am." I reply before jogging down the stairs and straight to my car.

Shit now I have to go see Peter, anything for Ethan.

haha sorry it's kinda short and I haven't updated in ages but here it is with some juicy stuff that sets the tone for the storyline. And also, I completely shattered my phone and it's unusable so updates are going to be a little slow.  And lastly I have decided to put disparate on hold because I just have really bad writers block for that book and I have no clue where I am going to take it but whenever I think of ideas I will be sure to update but don't expect any updates until I'm out of this funk.

Peace out bitchez 😛😛😛 (don't have new emoji's on this piece of shit)
