-One Week Later

Beyoncé's POV

I learned something new about Anthony everyday, he was very shy and quiet when he's in school. But when school is over that boy can talk your ears off.

"Hey baby." Shawn greeted, walking through the door.

"Hey." I replied cleaning up Julez Legos.

"Where's little man?" Jay asked

"They left with Solange for awhile, they were giving me a damn headache."

He tossed a folder down on the table.

"What's that?" I ask, opening it slowly.

"Before you read everything, you won't like everything you see."

I nodded opening the folder reading the words carefully.

"You slept with Michelle ?"

"Bey-"

"In bold right here, who's name is that? Yours so don't even lie Shawn.. if he's not mine...where is my son?" I asked flipping through the papers, not wanting to read another word.

"Um, take a seat." He offered, pulling out another folder.

"No. I would like to know now."

"He's gone bey."

"What? How?" I asked, now I'm even more lost and confused, "How in the hell did that happen?"

"He ran away from the Group home, a month ago. They've put up flyers, searched the area and they couldn't find him." Jay said nonchalantly.

"Why are you acting all cool, Shawn they lost our son!" I exclaimed but he shrugged and looked around for a moment.

"We still got Anthony, besides Bey he doesn't even know us so what's the point in trying."  Shawn said now walking away, "Get over it, even if he did know us he'd be upset that we gave him away."

"So you're really going to walk away from this conversation, what happened to compromising."  I stated scoffing at the files on the table, "Get over it, how dare you sleep with Michelle!"

"That happened 13 years ago, Get over it." He shouted closing our bedroom door.

I sat down on the couch shaking my head in disbelief when Solange came walking through the door with Anthony and Julez.

"Auntie BB, we got you ice cream too!" Julez yelled as Solange handed it to me.

"Thank you guys, Julez I put your Legos in the play room upstairs."

"Ok, Come on Man." Julez semi-yelled running upstairs with Anthony following behind him.

"You better clean them toys up when you done." Solo laughed sitting down next to me.

"Girl, let me tell you." I started.

Tory's POV

I watched my back as each car passed, walking home. "Tory." I heard someone say, I turned to see my dad walking behind me. 

"What you doing out this late?" He asked wrapping an arm around my shoulder.

"I was playing basketball with the older kids." I stated as we reached the front door.

"You can't be out in the open, somebody will say something or even worse call the cops.   Stay in the house for the weekend, I'll find something fun for us to do."  He said as we went inside.

I walked straight to my room closing the door behind me, I already knew what went down at this time.     Eric my dad gets drunk and beats Latoya until she's unconscious or until she gives him all of her money that came in from her pay check.  

I picked up my xbox controller and started playing Call Of Duty Ghost, Online.   While Eric started to hit her, the impact was loud.   I felt bad for her but I would never jump in to stop him.

Anthony's POV

Julez and I cleaned up the toys that we played with, and made our way downstairs to part ways.  

"It was really nice meeting you." I stated opening the door for him.

"It was nice meeting you to cousin."  Julez said opening his arms wide bringing me in for a hug.

"See you next time." I said sadly as he and his mom left.

I felt the need to cry, I haven't played with anyone that's my age in years.    It felt so good to make jokes and  laugh, while playing with action figures. 

"When they coming back?" I asked sitting next to Mrs. Carter.

"I'm not sure Chubbs, are you hungry?" She asked pulling out her IPhone.

"Can I get one of those." I ignored her question staring at her rose gold phone.

"No, you'll get one for Christmas....Guess what." 

"What?" 

"I know who your mother is," Mrs. Carter started, fidgeting with the ring on her finger.

"Who is it?" I asked, I didn't won't to go with my real mother.  I wanted to stay with Mrs.Carter or Julez.
