Bey's POV
Tuesday July 6, 2016
8:00 amWhen we made it back the house was a mess. The police were only there to remove everyone from off of the property, and take a couple of them in to pay fees for damaging property.
"Excuse me, where is my son?" I asked as the doctors picked a body bag from up off the ground and placed it ontop of the stretcher.
"Hey whose that?" I heard Jay ask.
"Some guy shot his girl in the neck." The guy driving the ambulance said.
"Ma'am if you want to see your son you'll have to go down to the station to visit him." One of the officers said nonchalantly before walking away.
"Dammit I should've known not to leave them alone." I mumbled to myself looking around.
"Solange called." Kelly said walking up to me.
"Did you tell her what happened?" I asked curiously and she nodded, I know she's pissed.
"Ma'am if you would can you identify the body for us?" One of the detectives asked as he stood next to the back opening of the ambulance.
What body? I asked myself "Who else got hurt?" Tim asked as he wrapped his arm around Kelly's waist
"I don't know." I answered walking over to see him laying there on the ground with a bullet wound to his skull. There was no pulse, his body was cold the sun was out but it didn't feel right at all.
"The police shot him," the detective said, "Said he had a gun." He looked up at me with sympathy in his eyes.
"He had it coming." I heard Jay say
"Tory didn't deserve this no matter how angry he was or from all the wrong doings he did. He still had time to change." I mumbled holding back my tears
"Time isn't on our side bey, we don't have all the time in the world to change. We're given chances and time in small segments and he didn't try when he had the chance." Jay shrugged and shook his head, "How much will this cost."
"It's already paid for." The guy said covering the bodies up.

When we made it down to the station we had an hour to visit Julez and Chubbs while they awaited their trial. We don't know what they were charged for but all they told us was that there were drugs at the party and two people died.
"They not letting us go are they?" Chubb asked looking up at me.
They had them both handcuffed so they couldn't really move like they wanted.
"Trust me baby, they will."
"If they will why we in here!?" He asked raising his voice slightly
"Because they trynna frame us with murder." Julez said bitterly, " we ain't kill nobody."
"I know y'all didn't, but there were drugs and alcohol at that party." I reminded them raising my eyebrow, "Who had it?"
"Chris did I swear I ain't take nun of it." Chubb answered quickly
"My mama know?" Julez asked avoiding the question
"Yes she knows, and she's pissed."
"I'll rather go to jail then."
Julez POV
BB smacked the back of my head hard when I said that, "Chill it's a joke!!" I yelled trying to cover my head.
"You don't joke like that look where yo ass at!!" She said sternly
"I know I know."
The door opened and Uncle Jay came in with our snacks that we asked him to sneak in.
"You got the mnms?" I asked excitedly scooting up to the table.
"Yeap the ones with the peanuts right?" He asked opening them getting ready to pour some in my mouth for me.
"Right."
"Mr. Smith and Mr. Carter?" Officer Barnette said as he entered the room.
"Yes sir?" We both said in unison
"The minimum we can give you is 5 years."
"5 years for what?" I asked standing up
"Anything that you say will and can be used against you in court." He said as another officer came in and dragged Chubbs out of his chair forcing him to stand up. "Do you understand?"
"Yes sir." I said through gritted teeth as he tightened his grip around my wrists pushing me out the door letting me lead the way.
"Jay call my lawyer, hurry up!" I heard auntie B yell from a distance.
