“Mom why can’t I go outside?” the little six year old girl asked her mother.
“Sweetie the world is a cruel place that’s not meant for little girls like you. One day you’ll see what I mean.
Since that day the little girl had no contact with the world or its ‘cruel ways’. She was home schooled, taken away from the society that would tear her down if she took a step outside. Her parents had a point, the world was cruel and tough, but would that somehow stop her from one day going outside, the way her fate was planned.
Her parents never went outside unless it was for business meetings with their work company, which usually was no more than three to four days every month. They lived in neighborhood outside of the city. It was a very quiet and nice little neighborhood that minded its own business. It hadn’t changed in thirteen years they lived there. The little girl wasn’t so little anymore and had become a graduate according to her parents.
Juliet or Jules as her parents called her never questioned her parent’s logic, or need to keep her inside. The days her parents were out on their meetings she would break the one rule that her parents had given her when she was old enough to understand. Go outside.
