Juliet woke up from the shine that was coming in through the shudders in her room. She thought for a moment when she remembered the day before. How did she get here? Did her parents see Zayn? Am I going to get in trouble?

She quickly stood up and changed in to different clothes. She then made her way downstairs, looking up at the clock. Seeing it was barley seven in the morning. She smelled bacon coming from the kitchen.

“Hi Sweetie, how are you?” Juliet’s mother asked drying her hands on her towel.

“I’m great mom. How was the meeting?” she asked grabbing a cup and pouring herself some orange juice.

Her mother stiffens a bit then quickly relaxes before answering, “You know the same old same old.”

Juliet’s mother always did this when the question was asked. Juliet always thought it was a bit odd, but didn’t question it like always.

“That’s good,” Juliet replied. They had this conversation each time.

The thoughts and events that had happened in the past days finally sunk into the back of her mind. Zayn, the cup of sugar, the tree house, dinner, conversation, Finding Nemo, falling asleep. Guilt was building up about  lying to her parents.

She was telling herself that it wouldn’t hurt them if they didn’t know. If they were to ask her if she had stepped outside, she would tell the truth. She had kept her tree house a secret for this long, what would a talking to the neighbors son do?

Then the one thing she didn’t want to think about popped in her mind.

Zayn leaving; she wouldn’t see him again. She didn’t even have a way to communicate with him and talking to his sisters was too risky. She would have to live with the fact that it was a one time thing.

She was brought out of sadness by her mother swinging a piece of toast in front of her face. “Sweetie are you feeling alright?”

“Yes mom. Just had a bad dream last night and couldn’t sleep all that well,” she said which was the complete opposite of how she slept. Last night was one of the best nights she’s ever had. It’s weird how she can easily lie to her mother like this. Its quiet a rush, but then again she still has the guilt eating her inside out.

“Well go and a take a nap. That’ll do you good,” was her motherly advice.

She nodded her head and headed upstairs thinking of what to do to pass an hour or two.

Three weeks passed by when her parents were leaving again on their meeting. She kissed her parents good bye and waited a good ten minutes before she ran out the back struggling to put her boots on heading towards the tree house.

She loved the sound of crunching leaves and twigs beneath her feet. It would put her at ease with every step she took. Climbing up the tree’s ladder she thought about where she left off in her latest book. Stepping inside she sat down criss cross and turned on her little radio.

“This morning on 107.9 The Coffee Place we have none other than One Direction!” the talk host said with a round of applause in the background. “How are you boys this fine morning?”

“Very good thank you for asking, how are you?” a boy answered.

“I’m doing fantastic thank you for asking Liam!”

“Well I know someone who would rather be asleep right now,” another boy said.

“Why do you say that Louis?” the talk show host asked curious.
