Chapter 22- Time passes

Gray and I have been pretty serious now. It's been a year and a half since that cheating incident took place.

I wonder if they're hiding for some reason? They have posted stuff on their social medias but nothing on Sam's?

This is all pretty shady. I am getting really worried. Yes, he is my ex but, that doesn't mean that I don't care if something really bad happened to him. I decided to go to text Sam.

I wrote," Hey we haven't talked or texted in a while. I was wondering if you were okay. I know that you've hurt me but, that doesn't mean I still don't care about you. Let me know if you are okay."

I hesitated pressing send but, I sent it.

0 hours have passed and he didn't answer. I began getting more and more worried.

I decided I should go to the O2L house and see what's up.

Since Grayson is at the store, I just left a note on the table telling where I was and what I was doing and why.

I grabbed my keys and hopped into the car.

I arrived at the O2L house and everyone in the house except Sam came running to me and gave me a big hug.

"Where were you?" Kian said.

"Grayson and I have moved into an apartment with each other." I said.

"Congrats!"everyone said.

"Thanks!" I said.

"Why haven't you guys contacted me?" I asked.

"You changed your phone didn't you?" Grace asked.

"Yeah, I guess I did sorry I was just occupied with Gray." I said while I can feel my cheeks getting warm.

"Awe!!!" They all said.

"Well, that and I am just too forgetful to remember all of your phone numbers. Even if I did, I would be too lazy to make all of the contacts over again."

"Classic Maddie." Trevor said as he had his arm around Roses' shoulder.

"Hey, where's Sam?" I asked.

"He's in his room." Ricky said.

" Okay thanks Ricky." I said.

I walk up the multiple stairs that lead to Sam's room.

I seen his door and ran through all the options as to what I should be expecting when I walk into his room.

1.A messy room with Sam in his computer editing something.

2.Him probably in the bathroom or something.

And 3. Him sleeping.

I hesitate to knock on his door, but I do, a small faint knock that I'm sure only an ant would recognise.

With no response I get worried, I barge in the room to find...

"Sh-She-Shelby?" I studded as I was shocked to see my sister Shelby with Sam my ex on his bed.

"Oh hey Maddie" She said completely oblivious to the whole 'Sam and Maddie' situation.

I face Sam, who is pale and frightened as to what my reaction is going to be.

"I.....I....." I studded as I finally let out more than just I.
