I woke up with a pounding headache. I reached  over to my nightstand and grabbed my Advil. I took one tablet and hoped I could get better. I wanted to hurry up and see Shaun. I looked  over to my phone and seeing the time 8:50am. "Dang" I mumble to myself. My mom must've not been home because she normally wakes me up. Finally. I ran to my bathroom starting to get ready. Ignoring the fact I forgot to make up my bed. Oh well. After I showered, brushed my teeth and did my hygiene thing I picked out a black shirt that says "feelin myself" in gold and put on some khakis and my black Timberland boots. I put on some gold earring studs not to big, but not to small either and I added a matching gold necklace, and a spray of Sunday Morning perfume. I was really feeling myself today. I simply put my hair in the same style as I did yesterday, a high bun. I grabbed my phone and went downstairs. Seeing my mother knocked out with a bottle of Hennessy in her hand. "Ughh" I say lowly not trying to wake her up. I open the fridge being faced to nothing. "Not surprised at all" I mumble. I'll just pick something up on the way to school.

I walked out the house and started walking until I heard a familiar voice. "Aye Journeee!" I turned around seeing Shaun. I put a big smile on my face while fast walking to his car. "Wait what kind of pants do you have on?" I asked. "Khaki" he answered. "What about shoes, black timbs?" I ask. "Yea why you as- ohh" he says. He instantly unlocks his doors to his car. "Need a ride?" He asks. "No I think I'll pass this time I need to get myself something to eat" I said. "Come on I got you" he says. "Okay" I said.

Ten minutes later we were pulling out of the Waffle House parking lot. "Thanks you didn't have to do that." I said. "I know but I just wanted to and impress you to go out with me tonight". He said turning red. "Are you asking me out?" I ask blushing a little but smiling. "Yea as friends" he said getting nervous. "Who said we were friends" I said. "Me!" He said. "Fine I'll go out with you only as a friend though" I said laughing a little. Five minutes later we was dying laughing at each other. We were making jokes about each other. We said bye to each other then walked to class. I told India about everything. She look a little annoyed but couldn't put my finger on it.

Today was a good day. Later Shaun texted me the information about going out tonight. I was happy I felt like Cinderella already. Sooner or later it was time for me to get ready. I put on a white long sleeved shirt and a dark greenish skirt, I put on a black and white scarf and some black stockings and some black shoes. I put on red lipstick, mascara, eyeliner and a black and white bracelet. Nothing to fancy. I wore my hair straight down with it falling to my waist. I look flawless. I took a selfie and posted it on Instagram. I also texted Shaun and told him I was ready to go. I grabbed my phone and my black purse. Shaun texted me and said he was here. I walked down the stairs carefully, because I barely wear heels. Thank The Lord my mother wasn't home I walked out and Shaun looked me down. He looked handsome. He wasn't being to thirsty though I could see it and plus I hate thirsty boys. He opened the door for me to his car and we hopped in. I hope this will be a good night. I am so excited!
