{Niall pov}

Early that morning I spent my time packing, with Harry's help, since my flight was early that morning. After many goodbyes we walked out together holding hands until we got to the lobby. That's when we acted like friends. It didn't help due to the fact that paparazzi was everywhere. Harry gave me one more hug as friends, also whispering an I'll miss you, and then a body guard drive me to the airport. I had a long ride to the airport and a long flight home.

When I got back Tyler was waiting for me. She gave me a huge hug. "You won't believe it! I got a new job," she tells me.

"No way!" She nods. "Not to brag but it's like totally awesome! Honestly, a lot happened but I do have a birthday gift for you. Also, your mom called the other day not being able to get ahold of you. She came down and will be down for like a week. She's been staying at my house, which is where I'm assuming your staying till Harry gets back?" I nod at all her sudden run on of things that happened.

"A lot has happened hasn't it?" I ask laughing and she nods. "Let's go your moms waiting," and that's when I couldn't wait any longer. I ran out to the car to see my mom and I ran hugging her and she laughed.

"My little Nialler! You went to Paris? How is Harry anyways?" I laugh. "He's good," I tell her giving her one last hug before getting in the car.

It was 4 days into my mom being in town. As of right now we were at my apartment playing board games, she was clearly cheating. "Ma! This is like your 100th time winning!" "I'm just good at this game. Now, would you tell me. Have you met Harry's mom?"

I awkwardly put down my cards. "Not yet?" "You mean I've meet Harry but you haven't met his family? Oh this won't do! You need to meet them."

"I've met part of his family. I'll ask him when he comes back into town." She nods and my door bell rings. Who could that be? Tyler was at work. "Who's here?" My mom asks and I shrug. "We'll go open the door." I huff and get up to open it.

"Harry!" I shriek and he's smiling. I give him a big hug jumping a little so he was supporting both of us. I nuzzle my head into the crook of his neck and he laughing making his chest shake. "Hi Niall! Can I have a kiss?"

"Course," I pull my back and give him a kiss. It was long and it would've been longer if my mom wouldn't have coughed. Then I hear another awkward cough and I see Anne, behind Harry.

"Harry, dear! It's been awhile." Harry hugs my mom and I stand back awkwardly inviting Anne into my cluttered apartment. "I'm s-sorry. If Harry would've warned me you were coming I would've tidied up a bit."

Anne laughed and Harry smiled. "I actually came down to visit Harry since he told me he was in town. He said he was going to surprise his boyfriend and since I haven't quite met you I wanted to tag along. Don't worry, your apartment is fine."

My mom butts in, "Boys will be boys. I'm Maura!" She sticks out her hand. "Anne," Harry's mom greets. "So I've heard," my mom laughs a bit.

"Mom, this is Niall. My boyfriend," the worst part I wasn't even presentable. Anne was probably think what a terrible guy I was for her son. I wish Harry would've warned me. I felt awful! I had practically made out with her son in front of her! My mom, it didn't matter, Harry's mom, that was a terrible thing. She probably hates me. I begin to breath deeply and felt dizzy. "Nice to meet you Niall!" Anne stuck out her hand but I just ran past her to my room and slapped the door. I just embarrassed myself. Because of my stupid anxiety! I sit in my closet in the sober rocking myself back in forth trying to breath. Deep breaths.

I continued but it just didn't seem to work. I hear my door open and Harry finds me, I wanted to be alone. "I'm so sorry Ni! I didn't mean to, I completely forgot about your anxiety! I'm sorry!" He cradled me and I begin to calm down. "I-it's okay...." After a while of calming down Harry pulls away slightly. "You ready to go back out?"

"N-no. I embarrassed myself. I want to be alone," I tell him. "You can't hide away from the world love, listen. Your moms out there, I'm out there. Besides, my mom feels terrible for what happened. She likes you, okay?"

I take a deep breath and nod. "I love you!" I tell him and he smiles. "I love you! Now, let's go." He helps me up and we go out to find our parents in the kitchen drinking coffee while chatting.

"Niall, dear, I didn't mean to frighten you! Your mom explained everything, I'm terribly sorry!" Anne rushes out and apology.

"It's alright, I'm calm. It's just hard." She nods understanding. "Well Niall, why don't we all go out to dinner and have a chat, your mother and you are quite lovely people. Besides I have tons of stories to tell you about Harold. As I assume so does your mother?" My mom nods and I take Harry's hand as we leave.

"Wait mom!" Harry calls and she turns around.

"Me and Niall aren't out to the fans yet." Anne smiles. "Then we'll go out as friends!"
