Olive's POV
We walk through the forest, Stefan carrying a torch and myself carrying some rope.
Stefan puts the torch down and peers through the grate covering the well just as Elena walk over to us.
"What's going on?" Asks Elena
"You shouldn't be here." Replies Stefan
"I know, but I am. What's going on Olive?" She questions
"Olive knows the moonstone is down the well." Mutters Stefan
Stefan breaks the lock then pulls off the grate. "You ready Olive?" He asks
"Yep." I say securing the rope around my waist, throwing it over the pulley then securing it to the chain
"You're going down? Why not Stefan or me?" Elena wonders
"Stefan's not going down because there is vervain in the water. I am going down because I am a witch and you are a human." I state while Stefan lowers me down
After swimming around for five minutes I finally find the moonstone but cannot pick it up because it has witch hazel on it. Only then do I notice I can't feel my legs due to witch hazel in the water. "Elena!" I scream
"What is it? What's going on?" She asks frantically
"Witch hazel." I choke before I black out
When I wake up, I am laying on the ground surrounded by Stefan, Elena, Bonnie and a blonde vampire.
"I got it." I mumble trying to lift my arm
"It's okay, it's okay." Soothes the blonde. "Olive, my name is Caroline. I'm a friend of Bonnie, Stefan and Elena okay?"
"I'm fine ." I mutter sitting up
"Okay let's get you home." States Stefan before asking "Do you have a home?"
"No, I was going to ask when I was at the grill earlier but Mrs Lockwood got me." I smile
"We'll take you to Elena's." Says Bonnie
Elena and I walk through the Gilbert's door and a guy and a woman stare at me. I remember the woman to be Jenna Somers. After looking at the guy for a while I remember him as the fiancé of my Duke professor, Isobel.
"Olive?" Jenna exclaims walking up to me before hugging me
"Jenna!" I laugh
"You have grown. How old are you now?" She wonders
"I'm 22 this year." I laugh
"You two know each other?" Asks Elena
"Yeah we go way back." Jenna smiles
"Ric, my friend. How are you?" I ask him
"Olive." He smiles
"You know Ric too?" Elena and Jenna ask in unison.
"I went to Duke. My main professor was Isobel." I state.
All of a sudden Elena walks upstairs to her bedroom. As soon as she leaves Jenna answers the phone. "Elena? It's for you." States Jenna
"She's gone upstairs, I'll take it up if you want." I suggest
"Thanks Olive." Replies Jenna
"Hello?" I say into the phone
"Hello? Who's this?" Asks Katherine as I start walking upstairs to Elena's room.
"Hello, Katerina." I greet her letting my true English voice appear
"Would you put Elena on the phone for me Ol-Ol-Olive?" She stutters as I walk back towards the kitchen while thinking about hanging up on her
"Nope." I state popping the p
"Well, I'll do what I was going to do because Elena didn't listen. Jenna actually listens to me unlike Elena, so when I suggest the world would be a much better place if-" Starts Katherine
I run over to Jenna although I was not quick enough to get the knife off her, I was quick enough to make sure it stabbed me instead of her. Luckily the knife only went through some nerves in my arm rather than going through Jenna's stomach.
I grab a tea towel off the bench and tie that round my arm. I run over to the phone and growl "You will pay Katerina!"
"Ow, ow, ow!" I shout as Elena runs down the stairs for dinner
"OMG! Olive, what happened?" She asks
"Jenna was talking to me and waving the knife around and I got a bit close." I mutter grabbing another tea towel and wrapping it round my arm.
I just went through surgery for some internal bleeding in my arm. It seems as though the knife went through some veins and fractured four bones.
I walk into the waiting room, where Jenna, Ric and Elena were waiting, with a cast and sling.
"I am so sorry Olive." Apologises Jenna
"Jenna, it's fine. I've had worse." I state putting my good arm round her shoulders. "Let's go home, I hate hospitals."
Elena said she was going to Stefan's. The rest of us headed home.
Once home Jeremy walks downstairs with his mobile in his hand and says "One of my friends, Tyler, wants to meet you at the grill."
"Sure." I say grabbing my keys and walking out the door to my car
I arrive at the grill and see someone wave so I head over there.
"Hey Olive, my names Tyler." He says kind of awkwardly
"Hey Tyler, why did you want to talk to me." I ask him
"My uncle, Mason, randomly went to Florida but before he left he said that he knew Olive. At first I thought he meant he knew the types of olive but then I heard Bonnie call you Olive. Do you know how he knew you?" He wonders
"Mason and I met in Florida two years ago. We both surfed a lot and became friends. Then he told me about his curse and i help him through his turnings. I looked and sounded extremely painful but because I was a witch I took away some pain." I tell him
"When I turn, could you be the one to help me through?" He asks
"Of course, but you barely know me." I say
"I don't care. If Mason knew and trusted you then I trust you too." He mutter
"You will be fine. You will get through it." I soothe
"Thank you." He whispers before leaving.
