(WARNING! You are entering the realm of Creepypastas. THESE WILL BE CREEPY OR SAD I PROMISE. If you do not like scary things, don't read. Also, this has a cuss word. This will be PG, but if you are under the age of 10, I suggest either getting a friend to read it with or just flat out not reading it. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!)

So I'm just a regular 14 year old girl. I'm a tomboy, but I have some traits that force me to act girlish. But my traits don't hold me back from one thing.

Pokémon.

Pokemon is a very popular game, series, selling item, you name it. Pokemon is very popular. And it's well known across the world, and Japan creates the games and sends them to our doorstep.

However... Pokémon has a... dark secret behind it. Something not everyone can see. Only kids my age could really notice this intended gore and doom behind it.

So what am I talking about?

Have you ever heard of Creepypastas?

Creepypastas are stories about video game hacks and glitches that bring an understory to the world of really any game. Pokémon is one I've been studying.

How did I even get into Creepypastas? Well, it all started about 6 months ago when I was on YouTube and it popped up on my suggestion bar. I didn't know exactly what it was, so I clicked.

So it faded in this picture I... couldn't explain. It had so much hidden meaning. However, this wasn't an animation. This was... a story telling. A story about two brothers who played Pokémon together but a terrible hack stopped a brother from playing ever again.

While I listened to this, my heart stood on edge. However... left a lingering curiosity. I had become so interested in this that I did more research on that specific story. I continued trying to find the code to play for myself, but no luck.

Anyway, I then found out there were more of these hacks and stories of terror from the original Pokémon games, like Red and Blue or Silver and Gold...

I began to wonder... what if I created my own hack? One that could access me to an unknown part of Pokémon?

It was settled. I was going to create my own hack.

About two weeks passed by and I had been trying and trying for codes. Most of them led to a bad egg, freezing the game, or just nothing. Every once in a while, I created a code for modifying Pokémon in the tall grass. Another, getting all my Pokémon to level 100. However, I couldn't seem to scrape the surface of a dark secret in Pokémon.

However... I then decided to mash codes instead. Maybe if I mashed two hacks, I'd get something else. So I tried this for about a week. Everyday I got home, I would try different hacks. I never came across luck until...

I mashed a Masterball code and a one of my own codes together. And immediately before turning it on, something was definitely different.

First thing I saw was Arceus. Immediately I thought I had made an amazing hack so a started the game.

I decided to try continuing first. So I resulted in hitting my A button across the Continue button.

LOST.

What the heck? Lost? What did that mean? I shrugged and decided to just start a new game.

The game faded to ... Oddly to the front of the Pokémon center. A bit confused, I checked my Pokémon.

I only saw one.

It was Arceus. I couldn't believe my luck! But I paused when I realized that the Arceus was moving... painfully slow...
