Sungjong on the side!!! >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Anyways enjoy! ^^

The classes went by slowly. Luckily, I love photography, so I keep myself focused on the classes and my notes, Myungsoo and my awkward meeting with him finally slipping from my mind. The professor leaves after announcing the class after is a vacant class. I take out a book about photography and begin to flip through the pages. I hear fabric shifting from my left side. I ignore it and continue leafing through the book. I almost jump up when someone starts talking to me, "Hmm.... Nice book you got there...." I turn and see Myungsoo looking at the book I'm reading. He looks up to me with a smug grin. ".... for amateurs," he continues. My mouth drops open. For amateurs? FOR AMATEURS?!?!? What the hell does he know about photography?!? How dare he say the book I'm reading is for amateurs?! I slam my hand on the table, causing Myungsoo's eyes to widen for a moment then return to his serene look. "How dare you!" Myungsoo chuckles. "How dare I what?" He answers, a challenging glint in his eyes and his smug grin never leaving his face. "How dare you say Ian Reed's book is a book for amateurs!" I hiss. Myungsoo raises an eyebrow challengingly, obviously unfazed by my outburst. "And how is it not a book for amateurs?" He coolly asks. I grab the book and shove it in front of him. "His best photo, A Midsummer's Dream, won 12 photography awards! His photos could sell to almost $10 Million! How could you say his book is for amateurs?" Myungsoo looks to the front and scoffs, his smug smile apparent. He looks at me from the corner of his eyes. "Yuri Takawa won 26 awards for a shot she didn't even mean to take. Victor Welsch sold his worst shot at $16 Million." I am apalled, baffled. Ok, so this guy does know his stuff. I slump back on my chair, feeling defeated. I sneak a peak at Myungsoo, and I see his smug grin at its best. He's obviously basking in his victory against my outburst. I sigh, feeling defeated.
I hate this guy. Celebrity or not.

Classes ended uneventfully, and I am making my way back to my dorm. I say hi to the middle-aged woman in charge of the dorm building. Before I make it to emergency stairs, the middle-aged woman, Mrs. Lee, calls me over to her office. I walk into her tiny office space and sit on the worn couch in the middle of the office. Mrs. Lee sighs and looks at me with sad eyes. "What's the matter Mrs. Lee?"
"Laurie, I am so sorry to tell you this, but you have to leave this dorm."
"Ok, Mrs. Lee. Where do you want me to go? Do you need me to pick some laundry up?"
"Laurie, I mean leave. Leave the dorm. I mean move out.."
Middle-aged lady say what now?
My confusion is probably obvious. Mrs. Lee reaches over to hold on to one of my hands. "Laurie, your debts are too high, and you haven't paid the full rents for the past 5 months."
"I will pay them back. I promise."
"Laurie, I know you're having a really hard time, with your parents going missing, and you not finding a job with a good pay. I can't have you living here trying to pay off debts you won't be able to pay." Ouch. "I'll have to send you away before your debts get worse." I open my mouth to say something, but Mrs. Lee cuts me off. "You don't have to pay for your debts anymore, though, Laurie. And I've found a place for you to stay already as well. Don't worry, one of my sons lives there." Mrs. Lee smiles. "He'll take good care of you."
I trudge my way out of Mrs. Lee's office and drag myself up the stairs to my dorm. I'm being driven out and forced to live with someone I don't even know. This is definitely the worse day ever. Why can't my parents just magically reappear and take me back home? Or at least pay for some of my debts? I drop the very few things I have into my suitcase and make my way back to the ground floor, dragging the suitcase behind me. Mrs. Lee is waiting by the doors, her smile sad and her eyes teary. Mrs. Lee gives me a tight and sincere hug. She holds unto my shoulders. "You have everything you need?" I nod, faking a smile. Mrs. Lee hands me a small piece of paper, "This is the address to my son's apartment unit in Gangnam." Gangnam? Her son must be rich or something to live in the most illustrious city in Korea. I nod and give Mrs. Lee one last hug goodbye before leaving the dorm's front doors. I hail a cab and give its driver the address Mrs. Lee just gave me. The cab driver punches in the address in his GPS and drives off.
During the drive, the driver looks at me through his rear-view mirror. "So what brings you to Gangnam, miss?" the driver asks. I smile at him and reply, "It's my new home."
"Oh? Someone from Gyeonggi suddenly has a home in Gangnam? Where'd the sudden cash come from?"
"Oh, no. A friend is offering a place to stay at her son's house."
The driver grunted in reply and looked at the electronic counter. "That would be 33,000 Won." I nod and give him the payment. I mutter a quick "thank you" before leaving the cab and getting the suitcase from the back trunk. I look at the address then at the tall apartment building right in front of me. The architecture is stunning, with windows that reflect the sky and clouds surrounding it. The building's entrance has a large revolving door that automatically activates when someone walks near it. I make my way inside the building and am greeted by two people at the front desk. The lobby is large, with a lounge on the right side on the way to the elevators and a bar on the left. I walk to the elevators and press the going up button. Almost instantly, one of the 5 elevator doors open, revealing a large elevator with mirrors on all three sides of the elevator, as well as another one on the elevator doors. I press the 28 button and the elevator takes me to the 2nd highest floor of the apartment building.
I find the door marked 28-F and press the intercom button. A buzz sounded as I did, and I wait. A few moments later, I hear a voice, it sounded lively and welcoming. "Who is it?" the voice sang. I speak into the intercom's microphone, "Lauren Kwon."
"Lauren Kwon? Ah! Yes! My mother told me you'll be living with us from now on."
Us? So he doesn't live alone?
I nervously laugh,"Yes. That's me."
"Come in! Come in!" the voice happily says as I hear a long beep, telling me the door has been unlocked. The door opens and I come face to face with a boy around my age beaming happily. He holds the door open as I walk in his unit. Truth to be told, this boy looks more like a girl than a boy. I politely smile at him as he helps me with my suitcase. He motions for me to sit on the couch, and I follow. The boy goes to the kitchen, and I hear mugs being set, a kettle whistling, and footsteps shuffling. The boy reappears with two cups of tea and I courteously take the cup he offers and take a tentative sip from it. I politely compliment. "It's delicious."
"Is it? Whew, thought I brewed it too fast." The boy laughs. His eyes widen for a moment and he gasps. "How silly of me! I forgot to introduce myself! I'm Sungjong! Lee Sungjong!" he says, as he holds out his hand. I take it and shake his hand politely. "Nice to meet you, Lee Sungj--"
"Call me Sungjong."
"Well, nice to meet you, Sungjong."
