Who would have ever thought that even your pets would care enough to come back and visit once they died? I never would have, until it happened to my mom and I. Only about 9 years old, I spotted the ghost of both my dogs Tara and Happy.
When Tara died, I was completely broken, considering it was the first dog that I ever had die. It was really the first I ever experienced the feeling of another creature dying. Once the dog died, it took me time to realize I would never see her again.
It wasn’t until about two weeks after her death; I was in the bathroom brushing my teeth. I look over to the corner and there Tara was lying there staring at me. After about 5 seconds of noticing her, she disappeared. I screamed on the top of my lungs and ran downstairs and told me parents what I had just saw. They believed me, and told me it was okay. They said Tara just came back to visit me, and tell me she was okay.
Months later another dog of ours died. His name was Happy, we woke up one morning and he was just dead lying outside. Once again I was completely heartbroken, along with my mom. That night my dad worked, so I slept with my mom.
The next morning I woke up and told her I had a dream that Happy came back to visit me. I was so excited, and my mother just nodded her head and asked me all about the dream. Not knowing it wasn’t a dream, I told my mom everything that happened.
It wasn’t until this year; my mom told me the truth about that night. The dream I told her about wasn’t a dream and it really happened. She was there too, and Happy had came back to say his goodbyes and let us know he was okay.
Still now, knowing what happened then gives me shivers, all up my body. It’s incredible what really happens in this life!
