"Wake up!" Kutzu yelled as Namie shot her head up into the air.
She looked outside and saw that it was still raining and it was night time. Namie got out of the bed and stood up. Kutzu smiled and bent down.
Kutzu put her finger to Namie's lip and said, "You're not in trouble you just need to eat,"
Namie followed Kutzu down the stairs into a small room next to a beautiful kitchen.
Kutzu sat down at a table with a tea pot and said to Namie, "Pour me some tea."
Namie sat down and crossed her legs.
"Ahhh, sit on your knees!" Kutzu yelled and then Namie realized that this was a test.
Namie got up on her knees and poured the tea as careful as she could. "Show me your hands,"
Kutzu said in a sweet smile. Namie stuck out her hand. Kutzu grabbed it and put her hand into a position.
"Now use that hand to hold the handle and hold the top down with your other hand."
Namie did as she was told and then placed the teapot back.
Kutzu nodded and said,"Good, very good actually, you are a natural, do it again!"
Namie did it again and Kutzu said, "Kiko you can come in now," Kiko came out of the kitchen and into the room with two very huge plates of sushi, noodles, mochi, and rice. she set them down and then went into the kitchen.
She came back out with three sets of chopsticks and a smaller plate of just rice. The chopsticks were gold, had fish on them, and the third were brown. She handed Kutzu the gold ones, Namie the fish ones and then she set the plate down.
"Arigato," she said then she took the plate and went up stairs. Namie took a bite of the salmon rolls and melted. They were so good you wouldn't have even imagined. After her dinner her and Kutzu went upstairs and went into Namie's room.
"I totally forgot to ask you your name!"
Kutzu exclaimed. "Namie Lao," Namie said in a shy voice.
Kutzu nodded and said, "Go to bed, you start geisha school tomorrow."
Namie went back into her bed and lied down. She listened to the thundering storm and eventually fell asleep. At three AM Namie woke up because she couldn't sleep. She stood up and went to the open window. When she went to the window some rain sprinkled on her nose. She smiled and then went into her closet to see all the different kimonos. In the closet there were different sections such as spring, summer, fall, winter, and school. Namie picked out a fresh juban and a black and white kimono with a grey obi for tomorrow. Then, Namie went back to her bed and fell back asleep.
