Kutzu opened the door with too much force. Slam!
"Whoops..." she said as she fell on the sliding door.
Namie looked at her with wide eyes.
"Are you okay?" Namie asked.
Kutzu was smiling with a crazy smile her eyes were red with lack of sleep. She had an empty bottle of sake in her hand. Her hair was crazy and her kimono was untied so you saw her juban. Kiko came into the doorway and pulled Kutzu into the house.
"Come in," Kiko said as she cocked her head to the left.
Namie went into the house and took off her shoes. Kiko waved her upstairs with a book. Namie went into her room and laughed at the title of the book. It read:
The Studies of Sake
She threw it on the futon and sat down on the floor. Namie looked outside and noticed that it was snowing outside. Ah of course! She thought tomorrow is the first day of winter . Namie went into her closet and pulled out some wool jubans for the winter. It's getting very cold now. Namie peeled off her sweaty kimono and juban. She then threw them on the floor. She pulled a silk towel from the top of the shelf and wrapped it around her torso, she really needed a bath. Namie walked down the stairs and into the courtyard. The snow fell on her pale skin (which had lack of nutrition) while she walked past the dying plants to the bath house. She opened the sliding door and closed it behind her. Namie fell to her knees on the cold hard stone and let the towel fall to the ground. She put her hands to her eyes and started to weep. She was only nine, she couldn't live away from her parents without becoming sad.
