Joshua Long. Ex-cop, arrested for drug usage and the murder of his long time partner, and friend, Alexander Hamilton, which he didn't commit. He is very cocky and arrogant. 25 years of age. Strong, athletic, handsome, but just an all-around jerk. Loud, potty-mouthed, especially when angry. He was the quarterback of his high school football team, the Springfield Tigers. He's a man of few words. Not very talkative. He is very strict, so if you plan on riding with him, you follow his rules. Good leader, but probably not a very good role model for kids. He may be a jerk, but is smart and loyal. You can always count on him for anything. When you're in trouble and need a hand (even if you don't) he's always there. Brown eyes, brown hair, muscles, and that jaw line...just good looking...i know what you're thinking..."what more could a girl want, right?" Wrong. Who even cares about the looks, especially when he's got a bad attitude. But, once you really get to know him, you know that deep down, he's a total sweetheart. I know, I know "haha, I was right" -_- well...sorta, yeah, you were. Anyways, as I was saying. Once you really get to know him, he's pretty sweet...well...most of the time. It takes a while for him to warm up to someone, especially due to his past. Even after warming up, he still stays on his guard. If its love you're looking for, hah, good luck with that. Its hard enough to earn his trust! Think he's guarded up normally, then don't even try for his heart. Sometimes, he acts as if he has no sympathy at all whatsoever. I swear, he locked up his heart and threw away the key. But, you really can't blame him, can you?

~Past~

His parents were murdered when he was 7. He was raised by his Uncle Carlo until he was 15. Then, tragedy struck and his uncle died of a heart attack. Since then, he has fended for himself. Everyone who has ever entered his life, has left. His older brother, Dylan left when he was 9. His sister, Laura basically disowned him as her brother on his 14th birthday. The night his parents were murdered, they were talking divorce and separation. His father never talked to him much, causing him to feel unwanted. His mother was a drug addict. He had no family. His uncle was very reluctant to take him in at first, but eventually did. He was treated like total crap, and his uncle even told him he was worthless. Josh's friends abandoned him by the time he got to middle school. He was that kid in the back of the class, not paying attention. As if he could! If you had a past like this, similar, or worse, or if you're going through that now...you probably find it hard to pay attention too. He was that kid who ate alone in a corner at lunch. The kid who was bullied and teased. The boy who couldn't get a girl. By the time high school came around, Josh had finally found some luck. Yeah, he was in detention a lot (boy, do I mean a lot), but he was almost a straight A student. A couple Bs and a C here and there, but over all, mostly As. He was very athletic even then. The quarterback for his highschool football team, the Springfield Tigers. Obviously pretty popular. He didn't do it for the popularity. He did it because he loved it.
