(pic is the apartment complex)

-Josh's Pov-I unlock the door and walk into my small apartment. I immediately remove my uniform and make my way to my bathroom to wash my face. I see myself in the mirror and sigh before returning to the living room and plopping on the couch. I grab the remote and flip through the channels of the TV. It's quite lonely living in this apartment but I rather be alone than with a bunch of people. Ugh. People. I shake my head and give up on the remote. As soon as I make it to the kitchen I hear a knock at the door. "Who is it?!" I yell casually. "It's the police." A male voice sounded outside of my door. Why's the police at my door? I walk to the door and open it. "You have the right to remain silent.." The officer says while cuffing me. "What?! Why are you arresting me?!" I struggle to be released as the police pulls me out of my own home. "You have committed the crime of murder." He says still shoving me roughly towards the police car. I see neighbors peeking out of their windows, some were even nosy enough to step out of their apartments. "Is this a joke?!" I yell frustrated with the way I was being treated by authority when I AM the authority! "No sir this is not a joke. Just shut up and get in the car." He pushes into the car and I grumble in annoyance. "I am a cop! I have the badge to prove it!" I growl at the ignorant policeman. "Looks like you're going to losing that badge. Should've thought about your actions before murdering Alexander Hamilton." The cops words strikes my heart as if I were just shot. I lean my head against the seat and try to hold back my tears but fail horribly. I can't believe this.. My own partner was murdered. I would never in a million years kill him nor hurt him in anyway. He was my partner in crime. LITERALLY. I stay quiet the rest of the ride. The cop drags me into the building before placing me in the unappealing cell..All I could do was sit there in grief and confusion.
