My face was battered and bruised, as I was brutally being kicked to the floor. I tried desperately to defend myself, but I was too weak.
"Aww, is the baby going to cry...?" Sneered a girl. Her 'gang' behind her laughed. I clenched my fists, anger surging through me. I'd have enough of this shit. 5 years of torture. Screw it. Detention or not, I'm going to hit her with my best shot. I hung my head as I fell to my knees. The skin scraped against the tarmac, as blood oozed from my knees. I winced purposely, pretending to admit defeat. They laughed and Sophie put her guard down. My hair was covering my face, and I looked like a complete psychopath. Suddenly, in a flash, I raised my head. My gaze was as cold as ice, as it  pierced the girls. A menacing smirk curled on my face. I leapt up and grabbed Sophie by her curled, long blond hair. "That was a bitch move, putting your guard down..." I sneered, then kicked her in the face. I'd slit her skin, badly at that. I kept the monstrous smirk on my face as I continued to stare at her. She growled, staring back at me with disbelief. Her eyes clouded and she winced with pain, whipping around to hide her emotions. The two girls next to her comforted her, until Sophie let out a sickening growl. "Get her..."
My eyes widened as the two leapt at me like wild wolves about to catch their prey. They grabbed me, kicked me, punched me. I stood my ground for as long as I could. Eventually my body gave in, practically snapping in half as I fell to the floor, smashing my head on the concrete below me. Blood was dripping from my mouth. I lay there, my eyes motionless.

"Shit, she's dead!" One called to Sophie. Sophie only smirked. "Good. She deserved to die. She was a weak little bitch. Oh well, it was fun whilst it lasted. Goodbye, Zoe..."

My eyes clouded as they walked away. I could barely move. Every muscle ached, every bone felt like it was broken. Suddenly a boy approached, staring down at me. "Shit... Zo, you alright...?" He muttered, helping me up. I screamed in pain, covered in blood, dirt, tears, bruised and wounds.
"They've really fucked you up, Zoe..." He sighed, supporting me as I slowly, shakily rose to my feet.  I wobbled.
"You should go and see the nurse..." He suggested, but I pulled sway. "I'm fine, Jack..." I growled. Tears streamed down my face as I hauled my bag over my shoulder. Without even a warning, I let out another scream as the weight of the bag met the strength of my now weak shoulders. The bag fell to the floor, resulting in me falling to my knees yet again. Jack lunged forward and caught me just before I hit the floor. "We need to get you home, one or the two..." He sighed, putting my bag over his shoulder as he picked me up. My eyesight clouded as I felt weary. Everything went limp as I passed out, only a black void replacing my eyesight, but only temporarily...
