CHAPTER 4: Trouble In Paradise

After we got out of the Shower and got dressed she said she had to go. So after she left I put on my white suit and read the next name on the list Scotty Douglass I've heard of him he's the billionaire living in style and he's having a party today looks like I should swing by so I grabbed my silenced Glock 17 and my parachute and hopped in my car. When I arrived it was 2:10 I climbed out of my car and headed in I found him upstairs in his room getting ready for the party he spoke in his accent that I couldn't stand "Who in the bloody hell are you?" he asked, I looked him straight in his stone cold eyes and said in a cold voice "I'm your worst nightmare" then I pulled out my Glock and aimed it at his head. He shot me a look saying Your going to hell for this then shut his eyes and lifted his arms "go on then" he said "get it over with" I pulled the trigger three times and three rounds tore through his skull, his body fell to the ground, lifeless and cold. I headed back out the door and shut it as I left then I went out the front door and climbed back into my car. When I made it back home it was 4:50 so I headed in and sat on the couch, I turned on the tv and fell asleep. Around 7:00 there was a knock at the door and standing on the other end of it was my fair maiden, and her son! I quickly opened the door "what's going on?" I asked. "I can't explain now can we please come in?" she asked. "of course," I replied opening the door enough for them to enter. When they came in she asked if her son could sleep in my room. so I said of course next thing I knew she was down the hall leading her kid to my bedroom. When she came out I was sitting on the couch with a glass of wine. Can you tell me what's going on now" I asked. She looked at me before sighing and then took a seat next to me, "It's my ex, he was just at our house completely drunk and acting immaturely. Then when I asked him to leave he pulled a gun and told me to go to the bedroom and take off my clothes so I kicked him in the balls grabbed my son we got in the car and drove straight here." then there was a bang at the door, "open up" said a voice from the other side "I know your In there, whoever your with can't protect you just come on out." So I told Emma to get in the room with her son, as soon as she was out of the room I walked over and opened the door, "look buddy" I said, "if I were you I would just turn around and walk away." The next thing I knew there was a gun pointed in my face, then he said "just give me the girl and my son and ill go." I said, "that's not going to happen." Then he replied, "look man who do you think you are just give me the girl and nobody gets hurt," so I said "how about you look man if you try to hurt anybody you'll wind up being the one on the ground and more than likely you wont be getting back up, ever." then I smacked the gun out of his hand and a shot was fired, I got smacked in the face and after that it was all a blur me on top of him then the "snap" of his arm breaking then Emma pulling me off of him. There was blood everywhere and he was still just lying there on the ground the kid was standing there peeking around the corner of the wall and Emma was hugging me asking if I was alright. Then Paramedics were on the scene putting the mans body on a stretcher and loading him into the back of the van then they were gone. Not to long after that the police arrived and started asking Emma and me questions. They took us to separate areas and talked to us I told them exactly what happened. They said my story checked out but that they would need to take Emma In for further questioning so Emma asked me if I could watch her son for the night.  So I told her of course than she was gone. Now it was just me and the kid and I had no clue what to do, so I asked the kid if he likes movies he said yea so I asked him what kind of movies. At around 10:30 he fell asleep watching Scooby doo. So I locked the front door and went to my bedroom for the night.
