CHAPTER 8: The Choice To Change Everything.

For a moment I couldn't even move let alone decide who I was going to save or let die, the kids started screaming and crying, "daddy please help us," they said. I looked at them then I looked at my wife, they were in cages my wife's was going up where torches were spraying fire getting closer and closer to burning her alive. While the kids was going down and getting ready to be submerged into a metal bowl filled with lava. as soon as I helped one of them there would be no time to save the other. I looked one more time at my wife and spoke as fast and caringly as I could, "I love you with all my heart honey, and I will never forget you. You were the best thing that ever happened to me but I need to save our children, you know that right?" she looked me right in the eyes and said, " I know, just promise to take care of them and be the best parent you can be, and one more thing I want you to kill everyone here." make them suffer. I looked into her blue eyes for the last time and said, "I will" then I shot open the kids cage and helped them quickly climb out. After that all I heard was the screams of my wife's burning body and my children's cries of sorrow. I myself was bawling by this point and couldn't keep together. I quickly grabbed my kids and we made our way to the car, we drove in silent most of the trip just the sounds of children crying in the backseat. Then after about 4 hours they were asleep I drove 3 more hours in silence then decided to get a room for the night. We made it to a motel 6 it wasn't much but it was enough. I got the kids out of the car and into the room, laid them down on the bed then climbed into the other bed. I woke up at 3:30 to the sound of my wife's screams and just laid there to afraid to close my eyes again. At 7:00 I woke up the kids and got them in the car and not even an hour later heard from the backseat, "I'm hungry" so we stopped at McDonalds and got some breakfast.
