The dead are the most heard
They remember every statement word for word
But when they were alone and broken, they were unheard
Always seeing the brightness in the sunlight
But never seeing the darkness surrounding the moonlight
That's how I feel.
Like y'all treat everything like a joke
But will you still be laughing when the noose begins to choke me?
Or when I swallow the whole bottle of pills under my bed
But y'all hear everything I said....right.
This is my not-so-suicide note
Something I never thought I'd quote.
It feels so weird to be dead while alive
My heart wants to be deprived of blood
My mind wants to be drained of the memories
But my plea for help y'all were too blind to see.
This is a tired that sleep won't fix
My voice won't slip from my lips
My eyes can't slip glances
My heart won't take anymore chances
This is my not-so-suicide-note
I'll drown my tears out with sounds
