I've known Levi for just about 21 years. Yeah. Our friendship is of legal drinking age. Okay that was stupid. Anyway, I've known Levi for a long time. We grew up as next door neighbors. I'm not gonna lie, he's always had a special place in my heart. But nothing has ever happened between us...

I take that back. Freshman year of high school we "confessed our love" and then junior year... He went through his... Y'know... Teenage phase. But that's besides the point. I'm 25 and still kinda thinking about him... I've gone through college, a helluva lot of college parties and nights at the bar and my life has taken unexpected courses. I double majored in dance and English and minored in teaching. I'm not exactly sure what Levi is up to, but I'm sure he did something with business and became very successful. Does he have a wife? Not sure. Do I care? Not sure. I have my own life to look forward to... Even though I'm rooming with Sage and Ryan (Sage's close friend) in a small apartment complex in Los Angeles. The beautiful city with a promising dance career. Kinda. I'm still working on that... This arrangement is only until I get back on my feet, of course...

I hope.

It's a pretty nice life. Sage's friend, Jen is always over and so is Ryan's brother, Carter. And with Carter usually comes his latest "girlfriend" I say that in quotation marks because his "girlfriends" are usually a one night stand gone wrong because he's too nice to sneak out but too heartless to commit. So my days are spent with these idiots and my nights are sleepless because, well, I've been choreographing for this new dance studio down the street. Not that my roommates really care, they have their own things to do. Sage is now a professional photographer, I could not be happier for her, and Ryan works three jobs. Nights at the office. Mornings at the coffee shop. And weekends at the local men's suit store. He gets paid a helluva lot of money, which I rarely ever benefit from. Sure, they're all a little crazy, they might like alcohol a little too much, but they're my family in a way. So I love them all. This is my life. Without Levi. And I'm content.
