My Childhood Bestie

I was 4, when I met Clara. Clara's family lived right across our house. Our moms were friends, our dads were friends, but Clara and I weren't. As far as I knew, I was really shy compared to the other kids in the neighborhood. One day, I woke up, looking out the window, I saw my parents and Clara's family talking. Not to brag but, I was a really smart kid. I aced all my quizzes. Clara always flunked, although we were in kindergarten that time. Looking at Clara, she was not my ideal bestie. She had brown hair, (not being racist) tan skin, big black eyes and she was a goth. Her parents didn't seem to care much about Clara. They also didn't mind Clara's elder siblings. Every year, Clara's parents would have another baby. Whenever her parents left, they would leave their children with us. They had 4 children, so far. Avery, Bella, Clara and David. But, they were all weird. Even weirder than my cousins. I was an only child.... for now..... When someone would ask me if I wanted Clara to be my friend, I would say "no". Secretly, I wanted her to be my BESTIE. She was ideal, sorta.... Finally, God gave me the courage to say "Hi!" to Clara.
Maya: Hi! I'm Maya Gabrielle Smith.
Clara: Hi! I'm Clarissa Jade West, but you can call me Clara. I live right across the street. See that house, that's where I live! My parents are in the hospital. They're with my siblings "Evan, Frank, Gregory and Harry". Do you have siblings?
Maya: No, I don't, my mom is 30 years old. She has a full-time job at Barnes' company. Do you like having siblings?
Clara: Woah! I like having siblings. They're pretty cool!
Maya: Oh! Seems fun to have a sibling!
Clara: Yup! I wish I could take you to the hospital.
Maya: I wish! *sighs..
Avery: Clara, Maya, time to eat!
Bella: Maya, Loser! Nice to see you Maya! Not Clara!

Avery: Oh My! Mom and Dad are near Mrs. Jeffrey's home! With Evan, Frank, Gregory and Harry. Guys, Be Gentle.... Ok?

*doorbell rings!
Marcus West: Hi Kids!
Nancy West: Avery Nicole! Bella Ashlyn! Clarissa Jade! David William! Hi! Here are the boys! *handing the babies, "Evan Louis", "Frank Timothy", "Gregory Jace" and "Harry Christian".
Avery: Mom, this is Maya!
Maya: Hi!
Nancy West: I've heard of you! Yuck!
