Chapter 31: Angelic Cry
Frankie’s POV:
After eating breakfast Niall, Chloe and I just sat on our sofa while Maura stays on her room to take a nap. Niall on my left side, laying on my lap so does Chloe but she’s on my right side. I combed both of their blonde hairs while we watch ‘Hotel Transylvania’, Childish? I know but hey, It’s a great movie, you know?
“Mummy, the baby’s kicking me.” Chloe giggled and I giggled with her
“Yes, mummy the baby’s kicking me too,” Niall said with a baby voice.
I laugh and said, “ Oh shut up, Nialler!” I ruffled his hair and said, “ Why don’t you call Aaron or mum? Ask her how’s Chuck.” Niall was about to dial Aaron’s number when someone knocked on our door.
“Get that, Nialler, Please baby.” I said, and then pecked his lips.
“Niall, do this. Niall, do that, lalalala Niall.” He huffs jokingly while walking to the door.
“Oh hush up,” I laughed while throwing a pillow at him that luckily hit the back of his head.
When he opened the door Chuck jumped on Niall and said, “Daddy, Mummy, Chloe! I MISSED YOU!” and laughs after Niall put him down.
“It’s not like you’ve been gone for years baby, Come here and give me and your sister a hug.” I said, opening my arms for him.
“Mummy!” he said, hugging me tight
“Baby, too tight,” When he loosens his hug I asked, “Why are you so energetic?”
“Because, Uncle A and I ate Pancakes with many chocolate syrup on it!!” he said, jumping up and down.
“Ugh, Where’s Nana Mandy?” Niall asked, pulling chuck on his lap.
“She went to work so she doesn’t know” he chuckled.
“Mummy, I want Pancakes with Chocolate syrup too.” Chloe said, with a puppy dog eyes then pouting her lips.
“Okay, tell daddy, but not too much chocolate. Okay?”
“Ugh, here we go again with Niall or daddy. Do this, do that.” He sighs dramatically with a hint of joke on his voice.
~After a week
It’s been a week, a boring week; Niall’s always out but not with the boys. He’s always in the news about getting out of that place or this place. It’s annoying me, I want to confront him but I can’t I don’t want us to fight because of some stupid news. The Chuck and Chloe’s always at school, Maura went back to Ireland but on her way back here. Niall will pick her up later; right now, I’m with the girls, Aaron, Louis and Mum.
Niall said so that when my water broke someone can help me. But why can’t he be the one who’s here with me? ‘Maybe he doesn’t want the baby anymore’ I thought. Maybe He doesn’t want to be there when I give birth to our first baby.
I walk to mine and Niall’s room to get my phone when I felt something. I looked down and saw that my water broke. I was frozen on my spot; it’s a good that Danielle entered the room. She was frozen on spot but quickly recovered and shouts.
“Louis! Aaron! Girls! Mandy!” Danielle shouted non-stop while helping me to stand up because I’m kneeling on the floor.
“Wha---? ” Louis said, “WHAT HAPPENED?” when he saw me he run to me and carry
“ Oh, I don’t know, I spilled some water, maybe?” I said, sarcastically
“Shut up!” he said, laughing then carrying me to his car.
~Hospital
When we arrived at the hospital, they said that I’m ready to give birth. When I was about to push, the doors opened and Niall came in with a worried expression plastered on his face and sweat all over his face.
“I’m sorry, I’m late.” He said, kissing me.
“Okay, are you ready to push now?” Dr. Ross asked me –she became our family friend and our personal doctor-
“AAAHHH! YOU’RE AN IDIOT NIALL, I’M NEVER HAVING SEX WITH YOU AGAIN!SHIIIIIT!” I said, while pushing and holding his hands.
“Shh, baby, don’t say that.” He said with a chuckle.
“DON’T LAUGH YOU FUCKING IDIOT!AAAHHH!”
~After an hour or two
“Okay, last push, he’s almost out sweetie” Dr. Ross said
“Aaaaaaaaaahhhhh!” I said, pushing one last time. After that push, I heard my baby boy’s loud and angelic cry before I blackness attack me.
Niall’s POV:
My baby boy’s cry, that’s the only thing I can hear. I can’t hear everything except from his angelic cry. I cut his chord then the nurses and doctor carried him to wash him. When I looked at Frankie she’s sleeping peacefully, I may not be the one who gave birth but I know it hurts, just seeing her face crunch hurts me; knowing that it’s half my fault that she’s tired and exhausted right now. But I’m happy to have a baby with her; the past few days, I was always out because I did something that I know I should have done when we found out she’s pregnant. I was pulled out of my trance when the nurse called my name and handed me my baby boy.
“Congratulations Mr. Horan,” She smiled at me
“How’s my girlfriend?” I asked
“She’s in a good condition don’t worry, she’ll be sore but she’s fine we’ll give her painkillers. We’ll also move her to the private room that you requested,” Dr. Ross answered
“How’s the decoration?”
“We just finished decorating it yesterday morning.” She said with a smile “Do you want us to call your family and friends? Or just meet them inside your room?” She asked
“Room please, I’ll just call them when I’m done telling her,” I said
“Okay, we’ll check her later just push the nurse button beside her bed and we’ll inform you about your baby’s health.” She said, turning back “ By the way, before I forgot, What are you going to name your little angel?”
“Nicholas Elixander Flynn Tomlinson-Horan” I said with a smile, looking at my baby boy’s face while I say it.
Seems like I can’t stop myself from smiling, he’s just so precious and fragile. Why can’t life always be this perfect? ‘Because your life will be boring if there’s no challenges’ I thought to myself. We moved Frankie to the room I requested and the smile on my face is hurting but I can’t stop it. The room’s so beautiful, things are placed perfectly.
