Chapter 7: Luke and Frankie
Frankie’s POV:
It’s been three weeks now and every day the lads always practice at my dad’s house. Things changed and the lads and their girlfriends are a bit distant now; my friendship with Niall’s a bit distant too. Lou and El only meet each other twice a week, Harry and Alyssa only meet each other once a week, Ella’s with her family so she and Zayn only text each other, Liam only fetch Danielle at work then that’s it they never talk that much anymore and me and Niall Only text each other sometimes we meet each other and that’s it. On the other Hand, Me and Luke became closer with each other. We always text, we once bumped each other on the grocery store. Today, Luke asked me to meet him at the park. I started to get ready and changed my clothes. I just wear my toms, jean shorts with brown belt and my superman crop top; I grabbed my purse and my phone and headed to the park. I saw Luke playing with his phone, this is the first time we meet each other alone.
“So, hey Luke!” I said, hugging him.
“oh,Hey! How are you?” he asked.
“I’m good, you?”
“I’m good too.” He said smiling. “ Well, I wanna tell you something” he added.
“Go on..” gesturing my hands for him to continue.
“Well, remember when I’m being rude with you?” he asked, I nodded. “Mmm, from the moment I met you.. I already fall for you.” He continued.
“what do you mean, Luke?” I asked, confused.
“I mean, I like you Frankie.. And I want you to be my girlfriend.”
“I’m sorry Luke, but.. I don’t feel the same.” I told him, I don’t want to hurt him but I have to admit it.
“It’s okay” He said, tears falling from his eyes.
“Luke, Don’t cry please.” I said, wiping his tears with my thumb. “We can be best friends if you like.” I added.
“really?” His face lit up.
“yes, really!”
“thanks Frankie!” He said hugging me tight.
“Luke.can’t.Breath.” I said
“Oh, Sorry.” He apologized
“It’s okay. Hey, how ‘bout you come with us tomorrow?”
“where?”
“Well, the lads are planning on going to the beach before they audition for X-factor”I said.
“Are you sure?”
“Yes, besides you Harry’s cousin”
“Okay” he said, hugging me again.
After we hang out, he walked me to Lou and Harry’s flat. When we told the lads that we’re half-siblings, I often sleep or stay at Lou and Harry’s flat and also because Ella’s with her family. When we reached the flat, Luke hugged and kissed my cheek then left. I entered the flat the lads are grinning except for Niall’s who looks angry? Mad? Pissed? I sat on the couch the lads are still grinning stupidly at me.
“GUYS! Stop that! You’re freaking me out!” I said getting annoyed.
“Well, How was your DATE?” Zayn teased
“ZAYN! It’s not a DATE!” I hissed
“Okay,Okay! Calm Down!” Lou said chuckling
“Oh, by the way guys. I invited Luke to come with us on the beach” I said
