Merlin and Kleena walked to school the next day wearing jackets, gloves and long pants with boots. Nobody could find out they were being abused, their mom would beat them more. As the day grew shorter, the girls were afraid to go home for their mom had just bout two pounds on crack this morning from the man downstairs.
