Demigods Among the Mortals

Carter POV-
Hi, I'm Carter Brown. I am the captain of the football team and the hottest guy in Westwood Rights school. I can get any girl. I'm the guy that people doodle there name with in case that one day, they will be the lucky Miss. Brown. That is, all except one. She is my dream girl, the girl I want to marry.

Her name is Annabeth Chase.

Annabeth regents every guy who asks her out, I plan on being that lucky guy that she can't resist. She always uses the 'I've got a boyfriend' excuse. Everyone in the school knows that she's lying though. Anyway, I just broke up with my girlfriend so that Annabeth can have me all to herself. By the way, I plan on asking her out soon.

We are in Greek class right now, I only take this class because Annabeth is in it. Just as I'm thinking this, a phone rings. I look up to see that it was Annabeths phone that was ringing. You see, in are school, we have a strict policy were you have to put your phone on speaker when you get called and you can't tell the caller that it's on speaker. I look at her with pity in my eyes, and she just rolled her eyes at me! I mean come on! You have to share a private phone call and all she does is roller her eyes! At me. At ME!

"You know the rules Ms. Chase (when your single is it two s's or 1?)" Said the teacher. Annabeth nodded and put her odd phone on speaker. I wander what type of phone that is?

"Hello Annabeth, I'm coming back early! I finished the training and will be back tomorrow! I can't wait to see you!" A mysterious voice said.

"You are?!?! I can't wait! Did you see any good architecture there?" Annabeth said.

"Yes, I took as many photos that the Leoizer could take. Which is a lot. I can't believe Leo was able to make a phone like this...and then ruin it with the name. I mean come on! Leoizer? That's just stupid!" The voice said. Is that the phone that Annabeth has?

"But Percy, don't you know that I have class?" Annabeth asked.

"Well of course wise girl, I just wanted to talk to you, I couldn't wait to tell you!"

"Well, I can't wait to see you! I'll call back later! I love you Seawead brain but I got to go! Bye!" Annabeth said.

"Love you too, bye!" Was the last thing I heard from the mystery guy before she ended the call.

"Who was that?" Someone blurted out, you see, it was kinda odd hearing the schools smarted girl, who doesn't have many friends, say 'I love you' to someone. I hope it's her brother!

"My Boyfriend" she said before saying, "Now can we please get back to class?!" I bet I could take her boyfriend any day, she'll be braking up with him faster then she can say, 'Carter Brown'.

I am planning on asking Annabeth out before school ends, I other words, right now.
I make my way up the the beauty herself. I then tap on her shoulder and she turns around.

"What do you want Carter" she groans.

"You, I want you. So why don't you and me go out to dinner on Friday? Then we can come to my house to have a little fun." I ask, though I already know the answer.

She glared at me.

"No. I have a boyfriend as you heard earlier so back of!" She yelled.

"Come on, we al, know you just paid that person to call you!" I say.

"Back of and leave me alone!" She said, then she stormed away. I can't believe I just got rejected! Oh well, I'll ask her again later and she will, definitely say yes.

It was now the end of the day and I was trying to find Annabeth. I soon found her siting under a tree reading a book. I was about to go over to her when a Blue Limo pulled up. The whole school looked up, well, all except Annabeth, wondering who it is.

Soon, one of the doors opens and out came the hottest guy I'd ever seen. I'm straight, don't get me wrong, but if I was a girl, I'd be drooling over him, like most of the girls looking at him now. He was wearing a suit, sun glasses, and had untamable jet black hair. He looked very muscular and in the places that weren't covered, you could see scars.

I soon realized that the guy I was looking at was Percy Jackson, the Olympic swimmer. He was looking around us, like he was searching for someone. His eyes soon landed on Annabeth. Oh-No. No. He will not steal my girl!

He walked over to Annabeth, who still hasn't looked up from her book.

Annabeth POV-
I was calmly reading my book hoping not to be disturbed. I heard the school gasp but just continued reading. Suddenly, someone shut my book. I look up expecting Carter but was met by beautiful sea green eyes. To say I was shocked was an understatement.

"Percy!" I screamed, jumping up into his arms.

"I missed you so much!" Percy said.

"I thought you were coming tomorrow!" I yelled.

"I wanted to surprise you." He said.

"I love you so much!" I said before I kissed him on the lips, it was a long sweet kiss, until I remembered the school was watching and pulled apart.

"What?! Is it a crime to kiss your boyfriend that you hadn't seen in a month!?" I yelled. This shocked them because I normally stay to myself.

"Wait wait wait! What are you doing with my girlfriend!" Carter yelled, the Percy growled.

"Annabeth is my girlfriend! Now shut up loser! Or do you want to mess with an Olympic swimmer?" Percy yelled.

This made the entire school whimper.

"That's what I thought. Come on Annabeth, I have a surprise for you at home." Percy said.

When I got home Percy gave me the puppy I saw at the shelter when I was hanging out with him, 3 years ago! The puppy was a baby then.

The next weeks until school ended, no one bothered me. (It was the last year of high school)

Carter POV-
Over the next 20 years all I could think about was Annabeth. I never thought it would be Percy Jackson she was talking to that day in class. It was soon time for are 20 year reunion and I was sure that Percy and Annabeth broke up. You see, I still want her. But when Annabeth came through the gym door, she was with an older Percy...and 5 kids. My dreams were crushed.
