Logan POV-
I'm Logan Frances, and I'm a senior at California High.

But today, I was going to do a special one time only, Demigod-Shadowing program.

It was in New York, but I didn't care because I wanted to have the experience and find out what demigods were like.

The program took place at different mortal schools that had demigods, and you would be assigned to that demigod and follow them around school for two days to learn what there lives were like.

I was assigned to South High. All I knew about the demigod was this: She's a girl, no one knew she was a demigod, and she's going to meet me in the school office.

So here I was, at South High, waiting for her to show up.

The secretary had told me to sit down in the office, and wait for her here. She didn't know who the demigod was, so I couldn't ask her.

"Are you Logan?"

I looked up, hoping it would be the demigod. I'm going to guess it is.

She had blond curly hair with a grey streak in it, calculating grey eyes (They looked like they were following your every move), and was wearing a sea green top with an Owl on it, jean shorts, and running shoes.

She looked beautiful.

"Are you the demigod?" I asked.

"Unfortunately, yes." She said.

"Unfortunately?" I asked.

"Never mind." She said, obviously annoyed, "Follow me."

"What's you name?" I asked.

"Annabeth, daughter of Athena." She said.

"Do all demigods have grey streaks in there hair?" I asked.

"Only me and my boyfriend." She said.

Of course she has a boyfriend.

"So you both dyed it so you could match?" I asked.

"No. It's more complicated then that." She said.

"What do you mean?" I asked.

"I don't really want to talk about my personal life." She said.

"But that's why I'm here." I said, "To find out what it's like to be a demigod."

She sighed, angry, "There was a war. I got captured. I had to hold up the sky, so did my boyfriend. That's how we got them. That enough for you?"

"Um...ya." I said, a little disappointed that she wouldn't tell me more.

"Come on." She said, "I'm not being late to class for one of Chirons stupid experiments."

"Chiron?" I asked.

"The centaur from the myths. The trainer of heroes." Annabeth sighed, "I'll tell you later."

We reached the door of her first class, and we both entered.

All the heads turned to us, because we were late.
