Demigods Among the Mortals

The war was won.

But Leo's plan didn't quite work, he ended up in Elsyum before he could save Calypso.

The rest of the seven lived because of his sacrifice, and Percy knew what he had to do.

As soon as the war was over, Percy pleaded with the gods until they let Calypso free.

It's what Leo would have wanted.

That was 30 years ago.

The rest of the seven are living happy lives, but never forgetting Leo's sacrifice.

Calypso on the other hand, was devastated. She opened a bakery and flower shop, always remembering the plans to make the mechanic and soup shop with Leo.

Her life was about to be cut short though, because she got cancer.

The gods offered to heal her, but she refused. She wanted to be with Leo. Because of this, the doctors said she'd have about a year to live.

That wasn't the case though, because she ended up with 3 more years before they told her she had weeks to live.

Throughout her last few weeks, the remaining 7 visited her all the time, pleading with her to get the gods help.

"I want to be with him again." She had said, "This is my fate."

They tried to argue with her, but nothing would work.

Her mind was set.

She would be with Leo again.

So instead of spending her last few weeks in sorrow, she celebrated.

So that brings us to were we are now, her death bed.

She was in the camp big house, on her bed smiling.

There were campers and doctors surrounding her, crying tears of sadness and joy.

Soon her suffering would end.

The 7 were the closest to her, silently crying.

"We're going to miss you." Annabeth said.

Calypso smiled at her weakly, her energy almost completely drained from the cancer.

She was a yellow color, and she was hardly awake during the last few days.

"...Im...happy" Calypso said weakly.

"Say hi to him for us will you?" Jason asked.

Calypso gave a slight nod.

"Never forget us." Percy said.

"Could...Never....."

Percy and the others smiled when she said that, happy that they would be remembered.

"Leo's going to be so happy." Piper said, tears streaming down her face.

They all said there goodbyes, because it was clear she wasn't going to last much longer.

"We love you Calypso." Hazel said.

Calypso smile widened, and she said one more thing, "Thank...you."

Her eyes closed, and she took her last breath before her world devolved into darkness.

When she opened her eyes again, Leo was looking down at her smiling, and offering her a hand to help her up.
