Abnormal human

The start (chap 1)

I'm a girl living in the country side of Edmonton.

People are normal here except for one individual.

Sadly that individual is me.

Every morning i wake up with a big load of scare crawling up my chest, making my heart thump like no tomorrow. I'm strange but so is the world and that is why i am strange. I know many secrets to the world. But i do have a normal side as well.

As i walk in the forest i can sense Gem coming my way. Always trying to scare me as usual. Shes so dumb at times considering she knows what I'm capable of. The whole forest is quiet with chirps of early birds, last drip sounds from the night rain and Gems foot steps coming in from a couple steps away. "Hey Andrea did you hear about the big storm thats gunna come? It gives me shivers to hear about it on the news. But I'm guessing you already know.." I did know this. The whole week i've been having nightmares. I had a dream that the sky disappeared of blue and had turn so dark as if night was to come. I was in the middle of a big field with nothing around me. I rose my hands and all the sudden blood started to drip from my arms like a dress with those long sleeve silk ends. I saw my sister and the rest of my family yelling my name to come back but all i had done was collapse. And i had woken up. This is just a dream i told myself...but i don't have anyone to pat my back and let me know that its all going to be okay. I pretty much have lost everyone to talk to except for Gem. "Uhm yeah i did. Look i have to go home before my mom does or...yeah i have to leave. Can i text you later?" It took me such a long time to get back on track of what i was doing. "Yeah sure. Are you alright? You look a little pale?" "Gem I'm always pale. Im like a vampire. But I'm fine. Kk bye g" she just nodded and left. It kind of scared me though to be left alone in a forest. I just walked peacefully to my home..well at least for now. All i heard was echoes of owls and different living things that i don't care of at the moment. But as i walked towards a big log and behind was a small stream of water i noticed a gnawing sound. I walked slower to the noise. I saw spats of blood brushed against the log. As i walked closer i noticed that it had grey ears and a fur coat. I looked over and found a wolf with its other 3 wolves gnawing on a deer. They just looked up at me and growled, i ran from them. I kept my head high making sure that i didn't trip. As i got more tired the wolves got stronger, i couldn't take how far we were running. I started to black out and i had tripped on a piece of a long log. I was so scared and i rose my hands just like in my dream and i realized something i didn't know. I had a force and pushed the wolves with all my power not even touching them. But with all the power i used i dropped to the ground, but as i did i noticed a body of a man go close to the wolves who were getting back up.

I had woken up very weird. You dont usually wake up on a pile of leaves and a man staring right down at you. "Well hello little fella!" The tall bearded man said. His pants looked like they were worn by 10 different men. They were so stretched out. But i took my attention off of his hideous pants and started to panic starting with me trying to reach a small stick near by. "Ya gotta name you little rebel? Well talk before i feast on you just like I'm going to with the wolf!" I swallowed and decided to speak. "You saved me didn't you?" He was quiet for a little bit then answered. "Im no prince charming hero. But yes i did darlin. So how about that name?" I was thinking of a fake name. "Just call me..red" the first name i thought, but what a stupid name to think of. "Well okay red. So what are you doing in this forest?"" none of your business first of all And why did you call me a rebel for?" I stared into his saggy brown eyes due to lack of sleep. But he looked like a man in his 40's. "well don't get all mad about me asking but anyways,if you don't know already this forest is where wolves feed on everything and everyone whose around. Your lucky i got here and beat them with a shovel. And that power of yours is amazing, i couldn't get over it. But those animals bulk up like crazy and if you step into their territory they'll make you pay for stepping in." I looked around while he described what it was like in this forest, but now I'm wondering why is he living in this little shed then beside the forest? "Why do you live in the forest where these wolves can eat you up?" I started to think i was asking to many questions all at once and that he'd think I'm some little spy or something. "Oh so your one of them aren't cha? Criticize everyone else but not see your own mistakes. Ive done many wrong things in my life but i don't need some little girl telling me the way i live my life is wrong." I felt sorry for him. But as i get bigger i start to lose sympathy when all over the world horrible things are happening and I'm stressing over this little thing that happened to me with the wolves and this strange man.

" i apologize but as a man i think you wouldn't take this so seriously unless your one of those people who get affected by little things that people ask. Please answer my question I'm curious to know." He took awhile to respond he just looked at the ground with a blank expression on his face. "Well since you wanna know so bad, i...i lost my family in a big earthquake in California i had come home to find everything crushed including my family. My 2 daughters and wife. It was the worst experience to see. I sat in the living room floor for hours putting flowers from our backyard on top of them. So i had to get over what happened by doing something i love to do, which is traveling. I walked all the way here it was a challenge but i managed to make it. I came to this forest where i saw it was nice and calm, i became friends with the wolves when i would leave some meat behind for them and would stay far away from them as possible. Some nights they get really hungry and even try to eat me but thats why i keep a shovel beside me to whack them if they forget what i do for them. Does that answer your question red?"

His eyes became to water, he looked away from my face when he noticed that i saw him start to tear up. The wind started to pick up and i started to gain chest pains with the wind growing in power. I knew what was going to come and i cant stay here long.

Like it so far? I know its kind of short for a first chapter but don't worry i'll try to make them longer ;) ~continue to read plz promise it'll get interesting! :)
