The story (chap 8)

Jansen POV

She looked amazing. Her eyes twinkled with the reflection of the rain on the leaves. She looked hesitant to kiss me but then she went closer to my face. I knew that now was my chance and i had to kiss her right.

She froze and then stood back and ran off. I knew i should have kissed her sooner. Her hair was flowing back behind her like a shiny carpet. She ran in her boots and all you could hear was the splashes from her running.

Gem just started staring at me like she wanted to say something but its to soon for criticism.

"Wow. You don't know her do you?" Lets see we met just yesterday yeah i know her a lot! I gave her a sarcastic grin and sat on the log under the tree.

"I..i..thought she liked me? What did i do wrong?" She put her nails on my shoulder and shook her head. "Shes not the lovey dovey type. She hates the thought of falling in love." Why? I love her and i can feel she does too.

"Uhm Jansen i think you should go after her" i was already thinking that but she needs some time on her own i think. "Yeah i should. Wait why do you care? You were practically choking her with her own tongue! What was that about anyways?" She looked worried and quickly changed the subject.

"Look just go find her before i do" what? Before she does? "Answer my question Gem!" She looked bored out of her mind. "Uhh. Fine. I know something about Andrea. Shes unique with a power. I want that power. Someone told me that they are going to give me $400,000 if i bring her to them so I'm going to get it." She seemed so casual about it. Yeah I'm gunna sell my friend out for $400,000 but its cool.

"How could you betray her like that! Shes been your best friend!" Wow she really was some witch. "So what? She's so stubborn anyways, why do you try?" i just rolled my eyes and we walked in the rain splashing in the squishy mud.

All the sudden i couldn't move i was frozen. Something was stopping me. I tried to turn back but it was impossible with Gems force. "You are not leaving. Im going to talk to her. So let me just tie you up to this tree and we will be good!" I screamed but it was like my tongue was being grabbed out of my mouth. It literally was.

While she was roping me to the tree, i screamed but no one heard me. Andrea was probably to far to hear. Gem kept staring at me very awkwardly and strange. "What Gem!" I finally lost it. "Its just your so cute! I dont know what you found in Andrea shes rude, stubborn, ugly, and nothing you would want to have as a girlfriend. "Thats everything i want from her!" she looked confused but it was the truth.

She disgusted me with every bit of her. I finally had the chance to kick her when she leaned back to reach her jacket. I kicked her right in the leg. She fell back in the muggy muck. I ripped myself out of the rope and ran.

Then again she got me. She was pushing me higher and higher into the sky. "Im giving you a chance to play by my rules one more time. Or im going to drop you from here". I was about 7 stories high. I was freaking out. I hated heights.

"Look, look! Just let me down softly and i'll listen. I swear." Panicking! Panicking!

"On what? You swear on what!?" I was so high up she had to yell. "Does it matter?!" She shrugged it off an put me on the ground still on my feet and not broken, phew! girls can be scary!

Me and Gem met a while back. She was the most annoying girl now and when she was 13. Im guessing shes 18 now. There are my secrets as well. This time she ain't stopping me from talking to Andrea.

Andreas POV.

I ran, i ran, and i ran. I reached to a point where there was no more forest. I could see homes, stores, and different business. I tried keeping my distance from the bigger part of town. I always felt like i was being watched because of my dark clothes, light skin, light hair, light eyes. The thing i think everyone always looked at me was my face. I always plastered a serious face, hoodie on, and floated around like a ghost.

I took a deep breathe and went to cross the street. All the sudden i was pushed and hit. A car hit me. A put my hands out and pushed the car as hard as i could. It flew backward and hit another car. I was alive!

The guy that was in his BMW in the car behind the one that hit me came out of his car dialing something. I wanted to run and ditch but then he walked up to me and spit on me! "Nasty kids!. You almost hit my expensive car. You strange kids running around with no brain. You should really grow one because im sick of you kids" I just spit on him back and answered to his insult. "Well its not my fault that some adults still cant see" i ran to a hasty market that was close by. I walked in and i walked around trying to sneak a piece of some candy up my sleeve.

I walked closer to the cashier and saw a couple of Edmonton Side newspapers. On the front it had the picture of Gems mom and her dad on it. I read it and it was a little different than how she told me. It said that Gem allegedly tried to stab the man in her house but she only gashed him with the knife on the side of his stomach. And she's getting charged! She never said anything with getting charged. Shes a filthy liar. I need to get her and ask her why she did what she did to me, the real story behind her alleged cut to the man, and we need to talk now!

All the sudden the little tv in the hasty market flipped to the news and the weather lady was telling the latest news on the weather. We were headed for a big flood. Just what i needed.

Jansens POV

Gem let me down gently. i guess i did mean something to her. ew. "Wait here Jansen, i have a surprise for everyone!!" she yelled in the quite forest. she closed her eyes and waved her hands in huge circles. forest yoga!

She looked liked a freak. eventually she stopped and smiled. i heard growls and rumbles coming close. I froze for a moment. Then i saw about a dozen wolves coming running quick!

She put her hands out to freeze the wolves from getting close to me. "..th..anks" i said. she smiled widely. "so Jansen, these are a pack of wolves that obey me because i can control people by thought. It took me so long to perfect but here it is. These wolves won't hurt you unless you don't get beside me. Than they know your with me. So do so and watch the action!" she flew her arms forward and they speed off. I ran with the wolves to see what they were going to do.

After running for such a long time they eventually made it. it was horrible. I must find Andrea.
