The truth (chap 6)

Jansens POV

It was about the evening time when i started to think about Andrea again. She could be in the woods suffering on her own! She could be starving! She could be suffering out in the wild! What have i done? I let her go on her own without help. Im such a jerk. If something were to happen to her it would be all my fault for not stopping her!

I decided i had to go find her. Something about her was special. It wasnt just her beautiful eyes, something about her made me think that if i cleared her negativity, rude personality, i could get to the sweet, positive Andrea. Plus i had no one else to be around with or to talk to.

I grabbed some water from a shack near by that had some water and food supplies. I knew she was mad at me but she would thank me after i walked all the way to find her to help her. She didn't want my help but i wanted to help her. On the side note i also liked her.

I started my path walk where she walked, i knew she walked this way because of the shoe marks on the sandy ground. Just what i needed to help me out it started to rain hard and i could no longer see the shoe marks. How did i even know for sure this was Andreas foot prints? But i knew i would find her eventually. I had to.

Gems POV

Andreas smile shrank into a frown. She didn't speak, she just opened her mouth in shock. For a little bit i forgot about my problems at home and thought about how hard Andreas life is. People think she has some witch power. Everyone thinks she's crazy. Their's something she's always been hiding from. I think it has to do with her parents because she's never talked about them before.

I have always asked her if i could come she said no, each time a different reason. In the end i stopped asking because i guess it was to personal to share. But i could live with that she was an awesome person and cool to be around even though she gives the cold shoulder sometimes to people she's still the best.

I knew i had to tell her what happened to Phillip eventually. She stared into my eyes in silence. "Did something happen to him?" She looked confused, it was time i told her what happened to him. It will effect her but thats whats best for her.

"Uhm. Andrea. Please understand when i tell you okay? The thing is Phillip...he stabbed himself in the stomach and he died. Im so sorry."

She looked angry and also wanted to cry. "I saw Phillip was taken away by a crew of people when i came here, he wasn't moving and looked really pale. Im so sorry this happened."

I didn't understand what Phillip meant to her because i never heard of him before? "Phillip was a man i met that was sad about losing his family and just wanted to die. I wanted to help him by letting him come with me. This town has shorten its population by a lot. He also felt almost close for some reason, like an uncle or something. But i guess he's gone."

Andrea never cried. I've been her friend since the 3rd grade and i have never seen her tear up not one bit. She was very strong.

"Lets keep moving." Andrea said like nothing had happened. "No. You need to explain to me something." She turned back like in surprise this question popped up. "You have always been cold and rude to other people and i want to know why your like this Andrea? I know you have something to share with the world, you just are so stubborn and wont say anything. Please tell me i've been your friend for years. Please."

She looked away like she didn't hear my question. "I thought you wanted to be my friend no matter my flaws, and my past have been part of many of my flaws. Sorry i can't. Lets keep moving." I was so curious to know. Why wont she tell me?

"Gem we have to leave, if anything happens here i cant use my force, I'm still healing." She waved her hand like hurry up.

"No. You can leave, i've been through a lot and i just want to die now, i don't have any family left to be with so whats the point."

She looked mad at me an came closer to my face. "Don't SAY THAT! You know how many kids didn't have anyone to be with but they still managed to survive? I hate when people do this! You have a chance for survival, you want to give that up just because your stupid parents had a fight!"

I never seen her speak to me that way. I just folded my arms and left to go find my mom. She's the only hope i had.

"Your stupid Gem." That was the last straw i had to do something. I held my hand out and stopped her tongue with my force. "Never knew i could do that huh? Well i have a force as well. Their are reasons why we were friends all this time."

She froze in shock but she couldn't put her mouth back in her mouth. She just made noises. If she won't tell me what happened that made her this way i won't tell her how i got this strength.
