Chapter Three
"Niall, oh my god, you scared me to death" I said as I laughed a little
"You should've seen your face, it was priceless!" He said joking, as he got out of the car "Where are you going?" He asked when he was just meters away from me.
"To my house, I'm waiting for a cab, you know, I've always had this nightmare, where they killed me, took my organs and sold them to china, you're so mean, you really scared me" That was true, it really terrified me, the idea of selling all oof my organs to china, *shivers*
"I'm sorry, I didn't think about it that way, c'mon, I'll take you, I promess I'm not going to kidnap you and sell your organs" He said with a smile, I love his smile
I considered it, it was really late and dark, and getting in a cab, was probably worse
"I don't know, it's like im taking advantage of you" That was partially true
"Please, if not, I won't be able to sleep" He said joking, so I accepted
"Ok, fine" He opened the passenger door and I jumped in. For the first time, I was really close to him, I could smell his perfume, he smelled really good.
I sat down, and saw how he walked to his seat and sat down to drive.
"So, where to, miss?" He said as he grabbed his iPod and played 'Liquor Story Blue' by Bruno Mars, that's good taste in music. He started singing, 'Wow, this boy has an amazing voice' I thought as I sang the chorus too.
"you know where the Lilas Café is?"
"Yeah, it's pretty close to my house"
"Really? wow, I live on the house across the street, It's great to know we are going the same way" I said a little more calmed. On the way, he told me that his mother would stay in the hospital and he would stay at home and rest, because the next day he had to work on his parents store
"How long have you been living there?" He wondered
"Since... All my life" I answered smiling. It was weird, I've never moved from this house in all my life "I love it, I live on the last floor of the building, and from my window you can see the whole city" I finished
"Yeah, I can imagine" He said looking at the rearview, I didn't notice how handsome he was, with that thing he does with his mouth when he's driving, biting his lip to concentrate. I started watching him, like a creep to be honest, thinking about how pretty his blue eyes are. How lucky was the girl he was inlove with. How she, who ever she is, could stare at those pretty eyes all day, without a problem.
"Do I have something?" He said touching his cheek
"Uh - Yeah" I lied, I didn't want him to know that I was admiring him "Hold on" I said stroking his cheek a little "Ready" I said smiling.
"Thanks" He said focusing on the road. We where about to arrive when my phone rang, it was a message from Alene, Drake's mom.
Thanks for coming everyday to visit him, I know he was a little mean with you today, you don't know how much it hurts the fact that he doesn't apreciate the sucrifice you do for him. I'll talk to him Alice, don't worry
I felt a weird sensation on my chest, like opression, guilt. For a moment, I had forgotten that my boyfriend would daily tell me not to visit him. That I have spent my whole summer at that hospital, and I've given him my entire time. I left out a big sigh, and when I raised my eyes, we had already arrived.
"Here we are" Niall said
"Thank you so much" I felt a bit bad for the message Alene had sent me.
"No problem, I'll see you tomorrow at the hospital" He said as he walked over to open the passenger door for me.
We stayed at the door of my building for a while "I don't know what will happen to your boyfriend, but I hope everything will be alright, anyone would feel lucky if her girlfriend spent everyday with him, don't worry" now I felt worse, my boyfriend didn't apreciate my company, he didn't apreciate my effort. I just nodded and went in the old looking building.
"Good night" He smiled and as I stepped in the building, I saw him leaving in his red car.
