Third Person P.O.V

It was a beautiful and quiet morning at Hogwarts for (y/n). She had awoken early to watch the sunrise over Black Lake. All the students were still either asleep or just waking up so no one would disturb her or so she thought.

Professor Severus Snape was awake and wondering the castle grounds when he saw her. She was sitting under a tree on a small blanket drinking a cup of tea.

Not knowing that she had noticed him, he started to approach her slowly wondering on what to say.

"It's a beautiful sunrise, isn't it Severus." She said quietly letting him know that she knew of his presence. Startled by her question he did not notice the wet slippery patch of grass that was in front of him.
"Severus look out!" (Y/N) called out a little too late as she watched him slip and fall onto his back.

'I should have warned him sooner' I thought to myself a bit panicked. 'Considering I also slipped there' I remembered my back still a bit sore from the fall.
I set my tea down and got up to go and see of Severus was alright. "You okay Severus?" I asked him with worry in my voice. He continued to lay there looking completely dumbfounded at me not responding to my question.
"Severus Snape are you okay?" I asked a bit more firmly and louder too.
After a minute or two he seemed to have snapped out of his daydream and finally responded to me and I have to say very rudely too.
"Does it look like I'm okay to you?!"

"With that response and attitude, it would seem to me that you will be just fine. Sorry for worrying, it won't be happening again!" I snapped back at him.
Without bothering to help him up I stormed off, back to my blanket and sat down with a huff. 'The nerve of him acting so damned rude!' I thought angrily to myself as I grabbed my tea and sipped at it hoping that it would help calm me down as I continued to watch the sunrise, hoping that he would either apologize or leave.
'Him apologize, unlikely' I thought with a small snort.

After a few minutes I noticed Snape was still where I left him except he was sitting up.
"Are you going to join me or sit over there by yourself?" I asked him with a slight tone of annoyance.

"Are you going to join me or sit over there by yourself?" I heard (Y/N) ask me, breaking me out of my own little world I was in. Upon hearing her question I got up.
I was tempted to walk back up to the castle, but before I could even think about what I was doing I was walking towards her. "Sorry about snapping at you earlier" I apologized quietly.
She turned around and looked at me. Her face full of surprise.
"It's okay. Thank you for apologizing" she said her violet eyes wide. "Come and join me" (Y/N) asked me her expression had become softer and more relaxed.
"I can for a little bit." I replied to her request and sat down beside her.

There we sat watching the sunrise in complete silence apart from nature. It was comfortable and there was no awkwardness between us despite our differences.

'This is nice. What is this feeling? I swear I've felt it before but from where?'

'It's finally the afternoon' I thought happily to myself. 'Time to do one of my favourite thing in the world, flying!' I excitedly thought as I grabbed my broom from my room.
I wasted no time getting outside, as soon as my feet touched the grass I had hopped onto my broom and into the air.
Up here I felt invincible like no one could touch me. I felt freedom, and I loved it.
