I turned to him. He stared at me and I whispered the only thing that was screaming in my head, "I love you, but you NEED to leave." I ran from him into that tree deep within the forbidden woods. I ran with thorns pierced and tore skin. My clothes torn, my face in tears, my body drenched with sweat yet somehow I saw him there. My true love. The one made for me and myself alone made for him. His black hair gleaming with an unnatural blue shine that was only his. His glowing gleaming green eyes looked happy to see me. I ran into his arms and this was love. I knew better than any other. "I love you forever and I will always be yours." His wings fluttered and turned pink around the edges. He felt the same.
