Him- Lily White

“Lily” Eva came inside smiling. My head was spinning and I felt like puking. Something was ripping me apart to come out.

“Lily” Eva came in terrified.

“Shall we start training” I winked.

“Lily White?” Eva smiled.

"Yes" I purred.

"Alright then, let us get to work since you've been gone most of the day you're going to have to work in the kitchen tonight, but before this you must go off in the forest and find: Bergamot, Calendula, Borage, Chervil, and Juniper. Bergamot is a member of the mint family, and its leaves have a citrus-like flavor. The flowers vary and several colors, varying from pink and mauve to a rich scarlet can be found. Calendula is a bushy, aromatic annual, with branched stems and lanceolate leaves.Flowers have yellow to orange ray florets, produced from spring to autumn. Borage has thick soft stems and large leaves, both of which are covered in fine bristly hairs. The flowers are star-shaped and a vivid sky blue, although an occasional pink bloom does appear. Chervil is a lightgreen, lacey, fernlike leaf of Annthriscus cerefolium, a lowgrowing member of the parsley family. Finally, Juniper is a either a shrub or similiar to an evergreen tree, and juniper leaves are needle like. Mature leaves are awl-shaped, spreading, and arranged in pairs or in whorls of three. Some species have small, scalelike leaves, often bearing an oil gland, which are pressed closely to the rounded or four-angled branchlets. The cones are reddish brown or have a bluish tint and are fleshy and berry like."

"Indeed." I replied memorizing the description as I walked to the door. My first goal would to be to find borage since I saw it on my last mission to find herbs. Although through my whole time of walking last time I didn't see juniper. I'll have to find that last so I can spend more time on it. 

"Ohh there it is." I said surprised from spotting the juniper instantly. It was ina shrub, and the leaves were needle like. The berries were a bluish reddish brownish color. Oops I mean the cones.

I felt different. I wonder why. Hmmmm...

I jumped startled by the cheerful happy voice. What was that?? Lily Black??? But this has never happened before so why would it now??

Forget it. I have to hurry for night fall is coming. Eva had once told Lily Black when she was younger never to be in the forest on a full mooned night for the beast is at its best. Hmmm what form does an vile beast hold?

Derek.

Derek. Derek was the monster Lily Black imagined, but who was my monster?

Derek.

Lily Black! Stop interferring with my thoughts. Wait a moment this wasn't Lily Black's tone of voice. No, this was some one else. Who?

Who was breaking into my mind and thoughts? Who dared?

"Open my eyes, and I'll come to you." the voice whispered.

 Whose eyes? Who? Idiot! This person left me with more questions than answers. I wanted a straight answer. A straight answer. Don't let stupid things distract you Lily White. You are better!

I rushed on the find the rest of the berries. I found the berries quickly, but night was creeped over the sky. A warm summer nightime with black velvet skies, moon skulking up into the sky. This was NOT good. Eva will be dissapointed in me. A yell came from the distance. A human yell from some a man with a angered voice. I feared it. Every bone in my body froze but my position and stance would make others think otherwise. I couldn't show weakness. Not to anyone. People would hurt me.  People would betray me. So weakness wasn't an option. I posed in a pose that showed that I was going to fight and not run.

I heard whispers from the winds that silently blew, and then I knew. I was surrounded. Surrounded!! I know I'll win, but who could these people be??

The world was silent when I yelled confidentally, "Come out, come out wherever you are!!"

Slowly walking towards me was a male figure, and I could make out the words he whispered so quietly in a shocked tone.

"Lily, my love." he whispered.

I felt my blood turn to ice. Who was this person who could scare me so?? Why was this so??

"You remember me don't you? One life wasn't that long ago. Remember, Open my eyes, and I'll come to you." he whispered.

No, it couldn't be. No, it simply couln't be. It can't be him. Not him. This couldn't happen. Why? The trees surrounding the figure were not as black as the shadow he cast, and all rightious light avoided him. The grass he stepped upon crumpled which died in my thought. He was darker than black. He was my worst fear, but not mine. Lily Black's worst fear but I'm built off of her so he was mine as well I guess. Wicked light shined upon his feet slowly moving up. My breath had stopped and time was no where to be seen. It was timeless. A moment that took seconds were long years, and I was killing myself with fear.

He wore black boots, long hunter green baggy saggy pants that was tucked into his boots when they reached his black matte boots, and he wore a simple red tunic. His face exactly as I remembered though he looked surprised to see me.

Derek.

"Lily?" he said. I could barely hear it, and the blood drained from my face I'm sure.

"Lily? Is that you??" He said walking closer.

"Who are you, and how do you know my name??" I played in a tone that would make him think that I didn't actually know who he was. I was scared out of skin, but I couldn't let him know I knew who he was or that I was surrounded.

RUN! RUN LILY!! RUN!!

I heard Lily Black scream and pound into me. It echoed throughout my head as he came to touch me. He was inches away from me. Mere inches were not enough as he touched my cheek. I flinched and stepped away. His face contorted in sorrow and in emotional pain.

"Why?" he asked walking towards me.

"Why what?? Who are you?? What do you want??" I said with real fright but fake wondering. He touched me cheek again. I don't know how he got so close in an instant. I screamed in real and fake terror and hopped back. But he was there holding my arm.

"Let go. Please." I pleaded scared in and out of my fake character I showed him trying to get away by trying to peel away his grasp. I was not strong enough to, and panic came way to the outside as tears silently streamed down my face. He looked as if I slapped him, but he didn't let go more or less he held my arm tighter.

"Why don't you remember??" he shook me. "Why???" he yelled.

The whole world was crashing. This was wrong. This was so wrong. He whispered something I couldn't understand in my ear as I screamed as though thousands of needles stabbed my skin. I looked into his eyes and I saw him crying, but the whole world turned black.

I fainted in his arms.
